Walt Disney represents the child in all of us. P.L. Travers
is the adult that we all must become.

Mary Poppins, the musical—much more so than the
original film—reconciles these competing world views
into a musical that, while maintaining the magic of the
original film, adds a deeper sense of drama.

As adults, we often forget just how confusing and scary

a place the world can be for children. They struggle to

understand how adults can seem so miserable when

grown-ups possess, in their eyes, so much more

Greg Parmeter (Director) earned his Mandy Parmeter (Costume Designer) is
MFA from the Johnny Carson School of in her eighth season at LCT. She received
