Arthur’s belief in “Might for Right” is echoed in
Kennedy’s words “I look forward to a great future

the future with a bittersweet optimism much like
Arthur in the final scene. Though Camelot falls,
the idea survives.

King Arthur: “Don’t let it be forgot, that once
there was a spot, for one brief shining moment,
that was known as Camelot.”

President Kennedy: “A man may die, nations
may rise and fall, but an idea lives on.”

Maybe what inspired us as children isn’t so
different from what inspires us as adults after all.
