Director’s Note

LCT’s 54th Season Americana, unfailingly popular among audiences
374th Production since it premiered on Broadway in 1957. As we
travel back in time to 1912, we need only catch
Meredith Willson himself called The Music Man“a a glimpse of the mighty Mississippi outside the
valentine,”and we couldn’t agree more with this beautiful windows here at the Weber Center to be
endearing sentiment. Packed with humor and an reminded that“River City”really isn’t all that far

of time to find the theatre and to take your seat. If you arrive
more than 15 minutes after the show begins, we reserve the
right to release your seat(s) to someone else. There are no
