June 13-22, 2014 minutes each day when we were taken into
LCT’s 50th season – 341st production Peter Hatcher’s world with his little brother,
Fudge.
My introduction to Judy Blume came in
fifth grade when my teacher read Tales Afterward, I read all the Judy Blume books in
of a Fourth Grade Nothing aloud in class. the library. I’m sure many of you have had a
similar history with this celebrated author.

It has been a real joy to rediscover this story
with a whole new generation of kids. There is
something timeless about this work that spoke
to me so many years ago and still rings true for
our actors here today. For the past six weeks
our youth have worked hard to bring these
beloved characters to life. Now we invite you to
sit back and enjoy our production of Tales of a
Fourth Grade Nothing.
