forging process to give you a completely unique item, which is crafted with skill using
only traditional techniques. e attractive finishes are practical too, being durable and
corrosion-resistant, which is low maintenance and resistant to moisture so can be used in
bathrooms and kitchens too. Add charming character to your already beautiful Residence 9

THE R9 TRADITIONAL BUTT HINGES

You can specify traditional R9 Butt Hinges to maintain original features which modern
windows often lack as the hinges are hidden, losing the character appeal. Choose from
working butt hinges or dummy butt hinges, both provide an authentic kerbside appearance
in exquisite ironmongery. Working peg stays and working butt hinges can recreate a true
timber alternative and are a great addition to complement your Residence 9 windows.

Below shows the working R9 Butt Hinge in Painted White, they are also available in Black.

THE R9 TRADITIONAL BUTT HINGES

e R9 Butt Hinges have been specifically designed to ergonomically fit Residence 9
windows. Both working and dummy butt hinges have the same appearance when closed.
Dummy butt hinges are mounted onto the appropriate position to the outside of the
window and allow the use of modern egress and friction hinges. Choosing dummy butt
hinges with dummy peg stays from the R9 Hand Forged Range is visually traditional with
modern functionality.
