the Glendale Mental Health Clinic to
provide weekly counseling services to
students on-site. Family and group
counseling services are also available.

Consequences
Range of Possible Disciplinary Responses
for violating a student’s right:
■ Parent conference
■ Detention
■ Suspension for 1-5 days
■ Superintendent’s suspension that results in continued
suspension for 6-10 school days
■ Superintendent’s suspension that results in extended
suspension for 30 to 90 school days
■ Superintendent’s suspension that results in a one year
suspension
MHS Student Appeals Court
■ If a student is given a demerit lower than
a suspension they may appeal to a jury of
their peers.
■ This court is completely operated by the
MHS Student Body Government.
