การใช้ THERE IS และ THERE ARE ในประโยคบอกเล่า

การใช้ THERE IS และ THERE ARE ในประโยคปฏเิ สธ

เราสามารถใช้ there is not (เขียนยอ่ เป็น
there isn’t) และ there are not (เขียนยอ่ เป็น
there aren’t) เพื่อสือ่ ว่า “ไม่ไดม้ ีสงิ่ ใดอยู่”

ตัวอย่างประโยคปฏเิ สธ

• “There isn’t/aren’t + ปรมิ าณ + คานามนบั ได้ ”
เพอ่ื บอกวา่ ไม่ไดม้ สี ง่ิ นน้ั ในปรมิ าณเท่านน้ั แต่มมี ากหรอื นอ้ ยกวา่
• There isn’t a cat in my house.
