The Welcome Center is our Art All Night hub, and your
recommended first stop. Find information on exhibits and
events; purchase Top Shelf wristbands to gain access to
cocktail and beer tastings at Art All Night venues; and learn
how you can enter a free raffle to win a $100 gift card
usable at two dozen local businesses. Plus enjoy music and
performances throughout the night. Art All Night kicks off
here at 7pm and doesn’t stop ‘til midnight. Take a walk
around the town and enjoy art, music, dance, poetry, and
more at 15 venues throughout the night. As you explore, keep
an eye out for "Polyphemus's Garden West", an installation of
100 sculptural flowers along Wisconsin Avenue created by
Theodore Carter – but hold off on picking these flowers until
after 11pm when you can take one home as a souvenir.

Top Shelf features special cocktail and beer tastings at select
Tenleytown art and performance venues. Purchase a Top Shelf
wristband sold ONLY at the Welcome Center to enjoy these
special beverage offerings and look for which indicates venues
offering Top Shelf experiences. Please note that designated Art All
Night locations serving alcohol will not accept payment for drinks
(restaurant and food truck venues excluded) and will require you
to show your wristband for Top Shelf beverages.

win one of 10 Tenley Bucks gift cards, each valued at $100! Tenley Bucks
can be used at two dozen local shops, restaurants, salons, and more.
Make sure to get your Guidebook map punched at each venue you visit
– we help get you started by giving you two free punches. There is no
cost to enter the raffle; simply bring your completed map back to the
Welcome Center before 11:45pm. Winners announced after Art All Night.

TRANSPORTATION

The Art All Night shuttle bus, provided courtesy of Georgetown Day
School, will run on a continual loop throughout the evening, with five
pick-up/drop-off stops to connect you to Art All Night venues throughout
Tenleytown. Stops are marked on the Venue Map and look for Art All
Night signs marking bus stops.

PUBLIC HEALTH & COVID-19 PROTOCOLS

TMS takes very seriously the health and wellbeing of Art All
Night artists, performers, patrons, and attendees. Art All
Night participants are required to follow all public health
guidelines set by the District of Columbia. Some venues may
require additional measures related to mask wearing and
capacity limits, which will be clearly posted, and all
attendees will be required to follow them while enjoying the
event at those venues.

Celebrate talented young artists as you experience a multimedia
exhibit of the GDS Identity Art Show, which tells the artists’ powerful,
personal narratives through the visual arts. Additional artwork created
by lower, middle, and high school students will also be on display. Listen
to original, spoken word poetry. Create your own textile art with a
custom T-shirt making station, sponsored by the Civic Lab at
Georgetown Day School. Design and print your shirt on the spot to take
home or donate. Plus enjoy dance, music, and more.

Across 42nd Street, at the rear of ElectriCityBikes, celebrated DC artist
Jay Coleman, a GDS alumnus, will create a mural that highlights this
year’s themes of community, connection, and renewal. Festival
attendees can view the mural as it comes to life during Art All Night.
Plus stop in at Nazlymov Fencing Club to experience exciting fencing
demonstrations from 7pm to 9pm.

A film festival, food trucks, and late-night dancing - this venue has it all!
Plus ElectriCityBikes’ storefront windows become a massive canvas for
an Art All Night mural, while City Bikes exhibits artwork in their
windows.

The 48 Hour Film Project partners with Tenleytown Main Street to
screen short films created for their Washington, DC competition. Teams
of filmmakers had a single weekend to write, shoot, and edit their films.
Enjoy the best films from the weekend, each rated PG-13 and under,
and keep an eye out for homages to Tenleytown’s past.

Once the lights go down on the film festival, the glow sticks come out
for a silent disco under the stars.

Bullfrog Bagels and Captain Cookie & the Milkman will satisfy all your
food cravings, while the team behind Valor Brewpub features District
beers, as well as wine and canned cocktails. Grab a bite and a brew
before, during, or after the show to fuel your art adventures.

The stage at the St. Ann’s Gymnasium is our Art All Night main stage,
with powerhouse bands performing indie-pop, classic rock, R&B, and
DC’s own Go-Go! Visual artists exhibit their work along the venue walls
with themes ranging from the female identified experience to
omniscient beings to vibrant abstractions.

windows and architecture, respectively, at 7:30pm and 9:00pm. Learn
about the church's beautiful reproduction of Michelangelo's famous
"Pietà," newly restored Létourneau organ, well known Christian saints
depicted in their stained-glass windows, and place in Tenleytown’s
history. A self-guided tour is also available throughout the evening.
