THERE IS A LOT TO LOOK FORWARD TO!
The growth is substantial on and off the island. There are
a lot of new establishments that opened last year and
more coming up this year! There is a lot to look forward
to when everything comes back to "normal".
If you haven't noticed by now the former bank on the
corner of Fredericksburg and Ventnor Avenues on the
boarder of Margate and Ventnor is now the home of the
irresistible Water Dog Smoke House featuring smoked
cuisine with a healthy menu.
As you travel North down Ventnor Avenue
Santucci's Original Square Pizza established
in Philadelphia, is under construction at the
former Arrow Hardware site and will feature
their famous menu, full bar, outdoor patio and
entertaining arcade coming end of this spring.
The former Delaware Market is also in the process of a restaurant renovation project and we can't forget
Dunkin' Donuts with drive thru roasting their signature coffee daily.
Additionally, The Ventnor Square Movie Theater
is being restored and re-invented by experienced
operators out of Stone Harbor, including a burger
bar with liquor license.
The former Mento's South Philly Italian Ice ice
cream parlor will now open across the street from
Farley & Ferry Realty's office as North Beach
Cafe & Creamery providing breakfast, lunch, and
Ice Cream & Deserts. It is an amazing addition to
the booming neighborhood of the North Beach
section of Ventnor.
If you're on your bike or taking a power walk on the
boardwalk you will see plenty of new construction
throughout the beach front and beach blocks in both cities
of Margate and Ventnor. Keep in mind Ventnor has a tax
abatement for all new construction so builders are being
enticed to develop along with a 3% increase in
values. Ventnor is invigorated with new construction and
interest remains high for primary and secondary
homeowners.
