After taking in our surroundings and looking
at the decor, it has to be one of the most

by oak and greenery, all while indoors. For
drinkers, the bar area almost spans an entire

To drink, Jonathan ordered one of Potting

which offered a real difference from your

The menu holds a real variety of options, from

Treadmills are well cushioned so will take some of

Looking back at Southowram

With many of our local communities
starting groups and clubs back in the
1950s, these were seen as a means of
motivating new communities to come
together after the difficulties of the war
years and rationing.

With many older properties and some
others not fit to live in, house building
was seen as a priority. New estates and
the resettlement of residents from the
condemned properties saw the creation of
many new communities. With many of the
families not knowing each other, having
the opportunity of getting together at one

help towards building community spirit.

Get ready to grow…
Your garden this April
Spring has arrived and it’s easy to become caught up
in a frenzy of seed sowing, growing and nurturing
within your garden as it comes back to life. Make use
of the next few weeks by preparing your garden for
the new gardening year.
Order bulbs & seeds
While it’s still a little colder, it makes sense to use
your time wisely by ordering your summer-flowering
bulbs and seeds, planning ahead and even trying out
new varieties to plant and grow this year.
