NCUFY’s Family
Cookbook
Why We Made This Cookbook
The New Castle United for Youth Coalition has worked together to create
activities centered around the goal of fostering a stronger sense of familial
bonds. Our objective is to create an interconnected community that strives to
address challenges faced by teens and to advocate for a safe environment.
Especially during the coronavirus pandemic, it is important for family
members to spend time with each other. We have put together a cookbook
with instructions and recipes that require a collaborative effort. Ranging
from a series of cuisines, this cookbook has a list of meals that family
members from various age ranges can make together. We hope that you all
take the time to work together and enjoy these meals!

Our group worked together to create this cookbook to encourage families
in our community to spend time together.. We each picked a type of
cuisine that we enjoyed and researched recipes that would be fun to make
at home. We focused on finding recipes that had multiple jobs so that
everyone could be included in the process. We want our cookbook to help
community families connect with each other in positive, supportive ways.
This was a fun project for all of us, and we hope you enjoy it too!
Happy cooking!
