We Hold Your Hands To Make You Stand
Give compassion, give service, give love to all. For piteous is the world’s need:
and the universe groaneth and travaileth in suffering and pain. ~Sadhu Vaswani
From Disability to New Ability In 2018, the 'Artificial Limbs Donation
Camp' served 2543 needy patients
successfully.
Vitthal Namdeo Indalkar
Indalkar, in 2003, lost his right leg in a train accident. On regaining consciousness,
he woke up to amputated legs.
"This shocking experience disturbed my life. I couldn't come to terms with what
had happened. The Sadhu Vaswani Mission volunteers, while conducting an
artificial limbs donation camp in Satara, got in touch with me. They brought me
to Pune with all expenses borne by them and gave me this prosthetic. Rev. Dada
has given me a new lease of life," says a teary-eyed Indalkar. Today, he earns and
supports his family.
Bhimrao Kamble
A victim of hit and run, Kamble lost his left leg to a speeding car. To contain
the gangrene, his leg had to be amputated.
"I had no option but to say yes to have my legs cut off. The Camp held at
Satara identified me as a deserving recipient and I am here, to learn to walk
again. I owe my life to the Sadhu Vaswani Mission."
