Kenosha Civic Veterans Parade

June 30th • 1 p.m.
“Liberty at the Lake” is the theme for the 2019 Kenosha Civic
Veterans Parade. The parade steps off in the Uptown district, at the
corner of 63rd Street and 22nd Avenue, and moves north on 22nd
Avenue to 60th Street. The route then proceeds east on 60th Street
crossing Sheridan Road, around the south end of Library Park, then
north on Sixth Avenue to 50th Street. Organizations and businesses
are encouraged to decorate floats for entry in the parade. All ages
are welcome to participate in a community bike ride as part of the
parade – but bicyclists must be able to ride two miles without stop-
ping and keep up with the group. All participants in the bike parade
must ride a bike; no walking or jogging with the group. Bike parade
participants do not need to submit a parade application, but should
plan to gather along 61st Street west of 22nd Avenue in the parade
staging area no later than 12 p.m., prior to the 1 p.m. start time.
