The Long Branch Police Department Class III officers assigned to the district schools are provided
with access to CrisisGo, our emergency communications platform. Within the application are maps
and details of our emergency operations plan.
Long Branch Public Schools have provided the police department with LBPS identification cards.
These cards act as mater keys to all our facilities.
A digital copy (PDF) and a link to an online Flipbook have been provided to the Long Branch Police
Department along with a hard printed copy of the EOP.

Plan Maintenance

The Emergency Operations Plan of the Long Branch Public Schools is reviewed annually by members
of the district crisis response team and those dealing with security and campus safety. Plan changes,
updates, and revisions are the responsibility of each individual principal. The School Safety Specialist
will assist in creating and distributing the EOP accordingly.

Final annual versions are submitted to the Superintendent of Schools for approval and then activated
upon.

All building principals/administrators are responsible to ensure their buildings specific checklist are
kept current. Training for assigned personnel can be part of staff in-service days.

Starting 2020-2021 the District Security Team will meet bi-annually with stakeholders.
