MY CHILDHOOD
MEMORIES
Chapter 1 - My Childhood Memories:
I was raised in a large family with many loving
members. I have all of my fond memories of
them.I have many wonderful memories. The
majority of them were spent with my family,
including my parents, siblings, and grandmother.
I have three siblings with whom I used to play a
lot and all of them are very precious to me.
When we get together, we always have a great
time. I also have wonderful memories of the
games we used to play. With our sports
equipment, we used to go to the park. My entire
childhood was spent in our residential area.
I had lots of friends there. I still communicate
with a few of them. We had a great time together.
In the afternoons, I used to enjoy playing
badminton and hide and seek with them and my
siblings. I have many memorable moments of my
time spent with them. One of the fondest
childhood memories I can remember is my first
day at school. I can remember my first day of
school clearly.
Chapter 2 - My First Day at School:
At that time I was 7 years old and it was the
first day of primary school for me and it was a
wonderful memory that I will remember. It was a
once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for me. I'm pretty
excited. For the past two months, my family and I
have been busy preparing things for me to go to
school. My dad was busy preparing my school
supplies while Mom worked hard to teach me the
basics, such as the alphabet and some rhymes
so that I was ready when the teacher taught
later.
I'm pretty confident in myself. I got new
uniforms, school bags, books, and shoes. The day
came, and they sent me to school. It is a famous
school in the city. My parents accompanied me
to the registration place to register. At that time I
saw many children my age coming with their
parents. Some cry because they are sad to be
separated from their parents. But, it’s normal for
a new student to enter a school like me.
I remember the teacher in charge of the
registration place was a gentleman. He served
us very well and I also remember him asking me
some simple questions, which I answered with
confidence. After finishing registering, he called
the assistant teacher to direct me to my class.
Upon arriving at class, I saw there were many
boys and girls my age. I was quite excited to get
to know them.
On the first day, I made some friends. I
remember when my best friend approached me
and asked, "What's your name?" for the first time,
and from there we became friends and became
close. After finishing the school session, I went
home and found my parents waiting for me. For
me, it was an exhilarating experience. I also
talked about my journey throughout school. It
was a day I will never forget. My parents are
quite supportive and that’s why everything went
so smoothly for me on my first day at school.
Chapter 3 -Embarrassing Childhood
Memories:
The most memorable experience for me was
when I and a best friend came home together
and there was an embarrassing incident where I
fell in front of a convenience store. Since we were
close, we always went home together
considering our house was nearby. We always
go to the convenience store after school hours to
buy ice cream.
One day, when we wanted to enter the
convenience store, I did not notice there was a
hole in front of the entrance of the store. I
stumbled into a hole and fell. My school uniform
is dirty and my knee hurts. My best friend who
saw the incident was shocked. She asked me "Oh
my god, what's going on? Are you okay?” and
she quickly ran into the store to ask for help. At
that time, I was moved by her actions. She was
always with me through hard times and good
times. Like a friend in need is a friend indeed.
After that, the store manager came out to
see my condition after my best friend called him.
The uncle saw the condition of my injured knee
and he wiped the wound with medicine. After
that, he told me to call my parents to pick me up
at his shop. He also advised me to be more
careful when walking.
My mother arrived to get me up after a few
minutes. My mother expressed her gratitude to
the uncle for his care of me. After sending my
best friend home, my mother took me to the
clinic to seek treatment from a doctor. Since
then, I was embarrassed to go into that uncle’s
shop again because he still remembers me
because of the incident.
Chapter 4 - A Horrible Experience of
Childhood:
I have a lot of good childhood memories, but
I also have some bad memories. This incident
happened when I was in the village. At that time I
was eight years old and I did not know how to
swim. One day, my cousin and I were at the
playground to play ball, and there was a pool
nearby.
At that moment, the ball we were playing
with had fallen into the pool. At that moment, the
ball we were playing with had fallen into the pool.
One of my cousins quickly went to pick up the
ball that had fallen into the pool. All of a sudden,
they all push each other into the pool. And at
that point, one of my cousins pushed me into the
pool because he thought I might know how to
swim too. But I almost drowned then because I
did not know how to swim. I shouted "Help! Help
!!" to ask for help. Yet he merely laughed
because he thought I was just joking when I tried
to get out of the water but could not.
But when he realized what was happening,
he jumped in and pulled me out of the water.
After that, he apologized for pushing me and he
did not know that I was not good at swimming. I
will never forget this once-in-a-lifetime
experience. It could have been worse.
Chapter 5 - The End:
To this day, I miss my childhood memories
very much. A variety of stories full of love and
sorrow that I will never forget. Childhood
memories are quite valuable in my life. I need to
remind myself of all the wonderful things that
have happened in my life. When I remember my
childhood, it makes me laugh and makes me feel
genuine.
I enjoy thinking about my childhood
memories. These memories give me a huge grin
on my face. It's the same for everyone, I'm sure.
These are extremely sweet and wonderful
memories. It could also be a source of gossip.
People, like me, enjoy talking about their
childhood.
