SUBMIT A PROPOSAL!!

• This conference will be a great learning opportunity for members
of the local community and those in nearby states to join in on
the conversation of academic advising in higher education. This
conference presents an excellent opportunity to meet the needs of
academic advisors in addressing various topics, but we need our
colleagues to present to make it a success!

• What is the Criteria when selecting presentations?

• Proposals will be evaluated based on relevance to current issues in
advising, appeal to conference participants, creativity, ingenuity, and
applicability for participants after the conference. We are seeking a
wide range of presentation topics relating to academic advising from a
variety of advising professionals in CT and our neighboring states.

• With the Star Wars theme, feel free to be creative and incorporate that!
Our concurrent sessions will be tied into the movie titles of the
original Star Wars trilogy, if you would like to consider that in your
proposal:
• Episode IV: A New Hope
• Episode V: The Advisors Strike Back
• Episode VI: Return of the Student

• Please submit a program proposal no later than March 31st, 2017.
