How’s Your 2020 Vision?

It’s hard to believe that we’re already 3 months into 2020! It seems like just
yesterday that goals and plans were being made for the new year ahead.

So how is 2020 going so far?

Now is the perfect time to take a moment to stop and take stock of where
you’re at and make sure you are on track with your 2020 goals. Are those
plans in place and running like you wanted them too? Are there any changes
that need to be made? Is there anything new you’d like to add? Are your sales
and pro ts where you’d like them to be?

It can be very easy to let the day-to-day tasks distract from bigger goals. Your
Royalty Rewards Coach is a great resource to keep you on track and help you
get where you want to be. Schedule a call with your Coach – they can point
out what’s working, what isn’t, and make suggestions on how to get you
where you want to be.
And if you haven’t already done so, be sure to go over your summer marketing plan. Summer will be here before you
know it! Setting everything up now means you’ll have that much more time to have fun in the sun instead of worrying
about how to promote your business.

Get Your Entire Team To Recognize
Your Best Customers

Once you have segmented your customer list into levels based on their spending—you’ll easily be able to know who
spends the most money in your business. You can send these people special o ers or send di erent o ers to each
segment. This often results in a huge savings as each segment spends and responds di erently.

Your sta should all know who you best customers are. The top spenders of your
segmentation, your Platinum Group—should be recognizable by everyone on your team.
These people should receive special treatment, be recognized and whenever possible,
known by name. Here’s some strategies other merchants are using to maximize this
valuable information and make it easier for their sta .

Pull a list from your Royalty Rewards® Database of your Platinum members (if you have had your database
segmented) names and membership numbers. This report is accessible by going to: Reports / Member Reporting /

Select your chosen options in the tick boxes - you may want to pull each segment separately, or only print you
Platinum Cardholders. Click the Magnifying Glass icon.

When the list generates—it will be an alphabetical by last name of the cardholders you selected. Use the Button
Marked EXCEL to download a spreadsheet of the lists and you can delete any info that you do not want available to
your sta before printing it. Post the printed list where your sta congregate—in a restaurant that might be where
the specials board is in the kitchen, or an internal POS terminal. In an auto repair shop, it might be by the time clock
or service desk, or the personnel area.

Another Merchant idea is to take photos of your best customers and post them beside the list. Write their names
under the photo so that your sta can be reminded at a glance of their names. Then, if need be, they can refer to the
printed report to access their membership number. If photos aren’t an option, print the list and add an area for
comments that help the sta create a personal connection to the customer. “Meg and Joe go cruising three times a
year” or “Joe always comes in on Tuesday afternoon and sits at table number 5”“Joe usually has his dog “Sparky” in
the car” - whatever it is that will make them feel valuable when the sta makes a personal connection with them.

You can turn on a feature called ‘Segment Stars’.

sta can then identify who your best
customers are and o er added
