Desk
It’s a great pleasure for me to present this newsletter before you all as a new member
of Kendriya Vidyalaya AGCR family. All the people who have contributed for the same have
tried to give their best to showcase the day to day development in the Vidyalaya.
I hope the newsletter will provide you the clear picture of what the teachers, students &
community is sharing with each other. Your valuable suggestions are always welcome. I
congratulate the students & teaching faculty for this success.
SCHOOL READINESS PROGRAMME
The school readiness Programme carried out in KV’s is nothing
but getting ready for formal school education. The tiny tots
need a comfortable environment to fill the gap between home &
school. Teachers plan & execute various activities to help the
students settle in the new environment. The teacher here
becomes a parent to comfort the child.
The objectives of this Programme have been successfully accomplished, such as:-
1. Feel comfort in new environment 2. Become familiar with surroundings
3. Make friends 4. Ensure enjoy joyful learning
5. Build confidence 6. Observation, self expansion
7. Overcoming the shyness 8.Follow interaction
9. Identify and recognize. 10. Listen carefully
11. Speak properly 12.Build self esteem early
13. Learn to mix up with other students 14.Enjoy their schooling.

WORLD EARTH DAY
World Earth day was celebrated in school on
22nd April. Students planted trees, conducted
rally & presented dances. Student learned how
to conserve the Environment. On the auspicious
occasion students had taken an oath that they
will not cause any type of harm to the
environment. Student also promised that they
will not tear the pages from the book or note
book. One ground in school premises is
maintained by children of all grades (primary).
PARENTS TEACHER MEETING
The aim of the PTM is that the parents and
teachers must understand each other well
and hence be together. Together we can
understand the child better. Together we
can enable our children grow up beautifully
and joyfully! So, we conduct PTM to make
the foundation of children, very strong.
FIRE SAFETY & MANAGEMENT PROGRAMME
Fire is one of the men best friends, but at the same time it could be most harmful for the
same if mishandled. Students were counsel and were told about fire and what to do & not to
do in case of fire. A video was shown to all students to learn do’s & don’t in case of fire.
Every fortnight mock drill on the fire safety is performed.
CLASS ROOM LIBRARY
Books are the source of knowledge, also they are
available everywhere in our surrounding but the
important thing is to give the opportunity to student to
read these books. For this classroom library is there in
every class and students are inculcated with the habits
of reading books. Students of grade 3to 5 are also
writing book review of the books they read.

First medical checkup was conducted for all grades during the month of April & May. The
children with some minor problem were counseled and were referred to Doctors & Specialists.
INNOVATIVE EXPERIMENT
UNDERTAKEN DURING CLASS ROOM.
During classroom teaching learning process activities were
performed for effective learning. Amount of Rupees 2000 per
month is judiciously used in purchasing the TLM. Every teacher is
actively conducting such activities in classroom for effective
teaching learning process.
Newspaper in Education
Newspaper is one of the important media which keep
the children updated, increases the vocabulary &
inculcate the habit of reading. In a step students are
asked to read a newspaper daily especially the
editorial page of education edition. For the very same
special efforts were taken by Mrs. Manju Utreja.
CCA are an integral part of our students’ holistic, well-rounded education. They help nurture in
student’s qualities such as resilience, tenacity, confidence and perseverance, which prepare them to
adapt and thrive in a rapidly changing world. So, various activities are conducted and are planned
throughout the session for the over- all development of the children. Some of the activities
conducted till dates are:- Clay modeling, paper folding, poster making competition, storytelling and
reading competition, Flag making competition, collage making competition, Rakhi making competition.
