The Fairplex Strategic Plan, adopted in 2018, makes it clear
that being a community partner is part of Fairplex’s foundation.
Fairplex measures its accomplishments through the lens of its
original mission: to provide Educational and Entertaining events,
promote Economic Development and support community
well-being. We do this through Lifelong Learning, with The
Learning Centers at Fairplex, and Building Community.

Gives
As a nonprofit organization, Fairplex’s mission is to benefit the
local community today and invest in its future tomorrow. As a
community partner and public benefit organization, we have
a mandate to help improve the lives of individuals, thereby
enhancing the quality of life for the entire community.
We are proud to assist our community with more than
$5 million in donations and in-kind contributions:
Nearly $3 MILLION in free Fair admission, staffing and
transportation to the Fairkids Field Trip Program, which offers
free field trips to more than 120,000 students, teachers &
home school families, including pre- and post-visit curriculum.
$1.2 MILLION to support The Learning Centers at Fairplex
and the Fairplex Child Development Center. TLC programs
exist because of Fairplex’s financial support of salaries and
overhead, lease forgiveness, utilities and infrastructure. This
support guarantees that all donations go to fund the programs
directly, not administrative.
