String tags are an easy way to add your brand to
clothing and merchandise. They come printed on
high-quality 12 point stock, which is available in over
20 standard colors. Custom background colors can
be produced as well for an additional fee.

Tags can be purchased with or without string. 16
string colors are available. Elastic string is available in
black or white.

Tags include a 5/32” diameter hole centered at top.
Alternate hole placement, perforation, and scoring are
also available.

Fill-in Hot stamp art vs. actual print
During printing, foil or ink will sometimes print beyond
the intended image. This is most noticeable in areas of
fine detail, which fill-in.

Ways to reduce fill-in:
• Avoid using art that combines large areas of coverage

with areas of fine detail. The additional pressure
needed to achieve a solid area of print often causes
increased fill-in for other parts of the design.
• Make reversed out areas at least 2 points in size.
Areas of close detail are more prone to fill-in.

Ink print art vs. actual print

Ink Color & Paper
The appearance of an ink color is affected by the color
of the paper it is printed on. The result will vary due to
the opacity of the ink and color of the paper.

White, Metallic Gold, and Metallic Silver are fairly legible
on dark color papers; but hot stamping will give a more
visible imprint.
