2 A Change of Address for 2017

For many years, we’ve been wonderfully hosted by George and Katie
Barstow at their beautiful Fforest Fields Camping ground. The
increase in business that will inevitably result from their award for the
‘Best Campsite in Wales, 2016’ has forced a reluctant decision to ask
us to find an alternative venue.
Happily, we’ve been offered the use of the lovely pastures at Lower
Llaneon, through the generosity of Stephen Williams and we’ll
hopefully be happily ensconced there for many years to come. The
site is around 2 miles North East of Fforest Fields and just one mile
from the Hundred House Inn, travelling towards Kington on the A481.
There’s lots of work to be done to get the site ready, and the list of
credits on the opposite page demonstrates the recognition of the
importance to our local community of the continuing success of the
Hundred House Show.

We look forward to welcoming you on SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 2ND

Moon & Sun It’s a Blast
Silvery Moon!

We’re going to the moon

High in the sky Climb aboard the spaceship
That is your place. We’re going to blast off soon.

Put on your helmet
Strap yourself in tight

Class 70 - Children 8-9 years Check your controls and instruments
Get ready for your flight.
Space Rocket
by Richard Caley Class 73 - Children 10-11 years
Super shiny space rocket Outer Space
Shoot me to the stars by Carol Western
Land me safely on the moon I look up from Earth and try to see
then carry me to Mars The planets looking back at me.
I gaze at bright and distant stars
And search for Mercury, Venus and Mars.

Fire me into orbit I squint at the Milky Way, way up high
beyond the Milky Way And look for Jupiter in the sky.
Then loop the loop through Saturn's Where are Saturn, Uranus, Neptune?
ring They're far away, high like the moon.
What fun we'll have today.
A telescope would be best
Take me to the planets For spotting Pluto and the rest
That no one else has seen I look for planets in the sky.
Like Jupiter with golden clouds
Or Pluto shining green.
