In real life, I am a list maker. I love pedigrees. This column and me, we’re like bread and but-
ter, yin and yang, salty and sweet...ok, you get it. I find it incredibly interesting that I can
follow this month’s Best In Specialty Dog - GCH Fingerprint Fear of Flying’s tail male line 116
generations back to the original source dogs. Our SD “Foundation” dogs, instead of finding
Charlemagne and Old Maude, I find Oreospotsalot and Oreo Cookies and Cream. Along
the way I see many of the kennel prefixes and “Legendary” dogs that I have met during my
research for this column. Anyway, enough with the rambling, let’s get to the history…

My intent is to do a similar sheet for the highlighted breed each month. For long time mem-
bers this will be a stroll through the past - you will see great dogs from your breed history,
maybe familiar dogs from your own past, and lots of familiar player names … some still with
us, some that have moved on.

World Cup is a prestigious honor. Only twenty-
three dogs have been able to achieve the
honor more than once in the World Cup’s 160
plus game-year history.

GCH Fingerprint Veil Of Tears won Best of
Breed an unheard of 4 times. He dominated
the breed ring winning in April, May and June
2011. His fourth and final win came in August
2011 AFTER his retirement.

Fifteen dogs have taken Best of Breed twice
and another seven dogs were able to make it
a “three-peat” winning three times. Of those
seven “three-peaters” one dog stands out
above the others - CH VonNStar Fire Coach-
man not only won Best of Breed three times,
he was 3rd in Show (July 2007), Reserve Best In
Show (August 2007) and BEST IN SHOW
