Article 1: http://www.cnbc.com/2015/10/09/apples-mac-sales-suffer-steep-drop-in-sales-wsj.html

This article is very interesting because I do love technology and secondly, it is one of the places I

was interested in working for; however, there sales have been decreasing. Their sales have dropped by

11 percent when it comes to their PCs. PCs and laptops are very popular to buy, especially for college

students and people who use them in the workplace. The fact that the sales in that particular product

dropped tremendously like that shows that their needs to be some type of change in the price or quality

of the product. I honestly think that Apple already charges to much for their products, as is at the

moment, therefore they should lower the prices of this product or even offer more sales or deals. A

result of that in my opinion should increase the sales.

Article 2: http://www.cnbc.com/2015/10/09/can-medical-smartphone-apps-replace-your-doctor.html
This article is about how the smartphone we own can potentially replace our doctors. Crazy

right? Yea, I know. It’s pretty weird to think that this is what technology would bring us. Based on the
article, it is possible because of this one app made by the company, Dutch start-up Skin Vision. The
doctors and patients could see each other and interact as if they are at an appointment. It sounds real
good; however, there are concerns that the health system is being overburdened. So my opinion of this
article is that it should not come down to pulling out your smartphone to speak to a doctor over visiting
the doctor in person because it is better when the doctor can see the patient, do what they are
supposed to do, and give you the correct treatment/information. Based on a video call, everything is not
very clear so there could be some kind of error in the information you get.
