Used only on adjective (e.g: happy, sad, tired, proud)

Adjective คือคำทที่ ำหน้ำทข่ี ยำยคำนำมหรือสรรพนำม Adjective consists of 1 or 2 syllables ( 1 หรือ
2 ออกเสยี งพยำงคช์ ัดเจน), you use +er than and the +est

(DO NOT PUT MORE OR THE MOST!!)

➢ E.g: 1 syllable ( 1 พยางค)์ - dark , darker (for 2 people or things 2 คน หรือ 2 ส่ิง), the darkest( for more
than 2 people or things +est ใชก้ บั มากกวา่ 2 คน หรือ มากกวา่ 2 ส่งิ )

E.g: Eng Seng is darker than Jane
Pan is the darkest among 3 people
(sad - sadder - the saddest)

➢ E.g of 2 syllables(2 พยางค)์ - dirty - dirtier - the dirtiest ถา้ พยญั ชนะตวั สดุ ทา้ ยเป็น y ใหเ้ ปล่ยี น y
เป็น i แลว้ เตมิ er/est (for 2 people or things 2 คน หรือ 2 สงิ่ ), ( for more than 2 people or things +est ใช้
กบั มากกวา่ 2 คน หรอื มากกวา่ 2 ส่ิง)

E.g: My shirt is dirtier than your shirt
His house is the dirtiest among all his friend’s houses
