Stages of Web Design

1. Plan your content
This is the most important phase in wed design. This can also be the
stage that takes the longest amount of time.
A good content plan will increase the presence and usability of your
site as well as speeding up web development.
Key points for your audience: keep it short and concise that usually
better, think about how they would search up your site, and organize
content logically.

2. Wireframe your design
A wireframe is a blueprint or an abstract visual representation of a
website it can make it easier for you or your team to collaborate
while designing and planning your stages.
Wireframes can be simple diagrams drawn by hand for quickly
getting ideas down wherever you are.
Examples of wire framing tools: it can be with pen and pencil or ypu
can use free or commercial wireframe apps , even other creative
cloud apps like Photoshop.

3. Create web pages
In order to bring a conceptual plan to life its important to understand the
languages of web design.
Main focus for this series will be on HTML and CSS with a sneak peek
into JavaScript.
HTML is used to create the overall structure and content of the pages in
your site. CSS would be used to style visual properties of websites
content.
JavaScript can be used to add functionality and interactivity to web
pages.

4. Publish your website
In order to publish your website you'll need a couple of things.
First you'll have to get a domain name or web address. You will also
need dedicated space on a web server and the connection details FTP
can be used to connect to a web server.
If it’s a website for your company you can get the information from your
IT web admin. If its your own website you can get the information from a
web host provider.
You can then use the Sites feature to connect to the web server and
publish your site straight from Dreamweaver.
