Holidays. Joyous reunion, lively circle time about
Holiday highlights and engaging activities embarked a Janmashthami
thrilling start from holiday break for our students and Celebration
teachers! 23.08.19

The theme of the last month was ‘Weather
Around Us’. Weather is a fun and engaging topic for
preschool kids as its a concept that children of this age
group can observe and note. A bunch of craft activities
like paper boat, finger puppet for weather, rainbow
craft, rain animal frog craft, raindrop sun catchers,
nature walk in monsoon, umbrella craft collage were
planned to make students aware about the weather and
things related to it.

We also tried a few experiments like froth
making, rain cloud in a jar with the help of foam to show
the students what clouds look like.

Umbrella Walk photo shoot was the highlight of

the month as our students brought colorful umbrellas to

mark the monsoon season. Other fun activities like Tug

of War, Splash Pool Fun, Poster making Competition

and Role Play were enjoyed thoroughly by students.

Theme for the month - Colors of Festivals

The month of August is full of festivity and celebrations. We at TSTS love to celebrate all the
festivals with our students and enjoy watching them dressed up for the occasion and participating

whole-heartedly. Through school’s celebrating festivals, children begin to associate with the
traditions, customs and ways of celebration with each festival. Activities like National Symbols
craft, I am a little chef, Independence Day and Krishna Stories will be narrated by the students to

apprise them about the significance of all the events of August.
