GENERAL INFORMATION
Demolition of Didcot Power Station

The last three remaining cooling towers of Didcot Powers Station
were demolished on Sunday 18th August 2019 at 7am.
Many residents were out to watch and take photographs and videos.
The spectacular photographs on our cover page were taken by
Nicola Beasley.
Unfortunately a bit of debris from the towers hit a pylon which left
several thousand houses without electric for approximately one and
a half hours.
The remaining stack will be demolished in October 2019.
