Different diagrams of
tectonic movement
Divergent plate boundaries are formed by spreading,
where plates split apart from each other. Convergent
plate boundaries are formed by the process of
subduction where two plates meet and the heavier plate
sinks into the ground towards the underneath of the less
dense plate. Transform plate boundaries are formed
by lateral sliding, where both plates are slid against
each other towards opposite directions.

landforms/impacts created
by the movement of tectonic
plates
Volcanoes (volcanoes form from convergent plate
boundaries, which uses subduction), tsunamis (tsunamis
are also formed from convergent plate boundaries),
earthquakes (earthquakes are formed from transform
plate boundaries), rifts (rifts are formed from
divergent plate boundaries).

In this book, you will be able to be
imparted with the knowledge and
cognisance of tectonic plates! The
different types of boundaries,
landforms and impacts are all
included within. We hope the factual
information in this book entertains
and enlightens you.
