Con Amore Projects is a new company that specialises in offering gift packs to

various business sectors: -

The gift packs that we offer are not party packs, but a small gift to extend appreciation
from a doctor to their little patients. These bags can be utilised for other activities
afterwards as they are made from fabric with draw stings. Most kids are terrified to
visit a doctor, so this small gift gives them a different perspective of the doctor, now
seeing them as someone who is kind and caring. If the kids know that they are going
to get a small gift, their expectations of the next visit are more positive. They will not
have that fear of going to their next appointment/checkup.

The company is driven by two women who have children of their own and have a clear
understanding on how stressful it is for a parent taking their kids to see a doctor, not to
mention when they need to go for a blood test and see the needles.

So, with this whole stressful picture in mind, there is a need for these gift packs to calm
the kids down.

Parents go through more stress than their little ones, because they need to calm them
down from these traumatic thoughts and feelings which are accompanied by questions
like “Mommy am I going to get an injection?” This leaves parents hoping and praying
that there aren’t any needles involved, as these would require plans and strategies to
calm their little ones down before and after the treatment or visit. Parents always have
to come up with one bribe or another.

Each of these gift packs we offer can be customised as required. We try to keep the
cost as low as possible, but if you require a more personal touch, you are more than
welcome to discuss it with us and we are more than willing to give you the best
solution.

Customisation could mean having your own company logo, coloring books etc. We’ll
have a doctor’s theme or if it is a hospital for instance, their logo could appear on the
coloring books, pens, puzzles etc. Each hospital, clinic, doctor, dentist, etc wants to
provide that special touch to their practice and it is now possible to do so.

These gift packs can be a blessing for all involved. The cost of these packs can easily
be worked into the consultation or when a procedure is carried out.

Our employees

Our employees are single mothers that have no other source of income. This not only
gives our brand a warm motherly touch, but also helps these ladies to start earning a
salary to provide for their families. We also employ students who come from
disadvantaged families and who are the sole bread winners for their families.

Charity

A certain percentage of the profit of Con Amore Projects will be donated to homes with
disabled children. We will also be catering to old age homes where the need is great.

We are situated in Tswane but we supply to all regions in South Africa.

Our Mission

Our logo and motto says it all - “When feathers appear, Angels are near.” We are
striving to be totally committed to our customers, no matter what their requirements
might be. We will do anything in our power to accommodate them. We are looking
forward to a beneficial business relationship with each of our customers, whereby we
will give the best service and attention to their needs at all times.

KIDDIES PACKS

These packs are filled with all sorts of gifts for boys and girls. We cater for children
from the ages of 2 – 10 years.

NEW MOMS AND BABIES

We have a special gift which would be from the gynecologist to say thank you to Mom
for being their patient, as well as a small teddy for baby. We also have a special letter
whereby the new baby “thanks” Mom and Dad for being there and have taken care of
them so far. Reading these letters over the days following birth can contribute to
helping Mom deal with the baby blues. These letters are especially helpful and
appreciated by single moms.

ONCOLOGY

For patients that require chemotherapy we want to offer them so much and feel the
need to assist, even in their darkest days. We have created a one-day survival gift pack
especially for them.

We will supply items for some of the symptoms they might be experiencing i.e. lip
balm, herbal teas, sweets and something to keep them warm. Reading material will be
supplied to adults and some activities for kids will be included to keep their minds
occupied whilst receiving treatment.
