AWESOME

EXOTIC ANIMALS

You can Own Here in the United States!

Everyone has always had that dream pet. Whether it be as simple as a dog or
something wild like a cheetah, we all long for an animal to call a companion. In
this list, you will find some of the coolest animals that you can own in the US.

THE SPOTTED GENET

Is it a weasel? Is it a cat? Neither! This

cutie is a spotted genet. Spotted
genets are native to Africa; they love

to run and jump on their owner’s
shoulders. For the best experience
with a genet, make sure you don’t

have any other pets.

THE DIK-DIK

This adorable little guy is a dik-dik. He may look

like a baby, but he’s actually fully grown! This
beautiful bovidae grows up to 16 inches high and

only ways around 13 pounds.

  THE SUGAR GLIDER

Every wish your pet hamster could fly?
THE FENNEC FOX  Get a sugar glider! These marsupials will
climb up your shoulder and glide back
down.
This one is my favorite, the fennec
fox is so cute! Originally from the
unforgiving Sahara Desert, the
fennec fox will steal your heart with

its oversized ears.

THE CAPYBARA

A capybara looks like a cross
between a pig and a beaver, and it is
adorable. They love the water, and
are very sweet.

Cooking can be hard, and sometimes it can get tedious. I will
be learning new things as I go along with this segment, so you
will get to see all of my mistakes and flaws, because it can get

discouraging if you don't get it correct the first time. To be
honest it may take me a few times before I even come, close

but it will be fun to learn together. This segment will
definitely never go without a few laughs, and hopefully I can
help you to bake and cook whatever you want. Based on the

most popular foods of recent or just something that I may
interesting, I will bake and cook whatever people seem to be in
the mood for, or just want to see made, as well as give advice to

common problems when it comes to making your goodies. So
let’s see what’s cookin’ in the Kitchen. My first request for
advice comes from Shocka Florentine, a city-worker in the

greater Kingsport area. Shocka has asked for advice concerning
her chocolate cake creation, she says, and I quote: “My

chocolate cake is pretty good, but its just missing something,
and that something is definitely not LOVE, because Shocka

has got a whole lot of LOVE, can you help?”

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
“I would go to Turks & Caicos because it’s beautiful.”
Which do you prefer to watch; baseball, basketball or football?
“Football!”
What is your funniest memory you have so far in teaching?
“Pranking Mrs. Dunham in the parking lot.”

All I want for valentines day is
a man with a truck

Justin DeStefano
While all men are created equal, the addition
of a masculine vehicle can assist in a heathly
headstart in the man game of life. After an in-
formal interview - the following perks were
discovered for those lucky enough to drive a
truck:

1. A truck can make a man appear more manly
2. It makes you standout
3. It is safer
4. More space and you haul heavy things

Bonus: trucks get all the ladies (not really)

Valentines Day

what it’s all about...

The origin of the holiday is the ancient Roman festival
“Lupercalia” which pairs off women with men.
The men would sacrifice a goat and a dog and beat the women
with the hides. The women would line up begging for men to hit
them. They believed this would lead to fertility. The names
of Valentine’s Day came from.” St. Valentine. There were 2
men named St. Valentine that were executed on February
14th. The Catholic church forbid young men to marry so
they would be better soldiers. Valentine disagreed so he
secretly performed marriages for young lovers. When
Emperor Claudius II found out, he ordered Valentine’s
execution.
Other stories recall that Valentine helped Christians escape
from Roman prisons. When Valentine was in jail, he was in
love with the jailer’s daughter who visited him frequently. He
wrote her a letter signed “From your Valentine.”
