Classes!

Our Junior Achievement's unique delivery system provides the training, materials, and support
necessary to bolster the chances for student success from grades K through 12. The impact is

measurable, too. Students who participate in Junior Achievement programs demonstrate a
significant understanding of economics and business concepts. The programs correlate to the Ohio

State Standards. We invite you to take a closer look at our programs!



Our programs help prepare young people for the real world by showing them how to generate wealth
and effectively manage it, how to create jobs which make their communities more robust, and how to
apply entrepreneurial thinking to the workplace. Students put these lessons into action and learn the

value of contributing to their communities.



JA Inspire™

JA Inspire is more than a career fair, it brings together the
business community and local schools and is designed to help
launch middle & high school students into their futures: high
school, college, and careers beyond. (Grades 8-12) Mark your
school calendar for Oct 26th, 2022 for JA Inspire to be held in
Clark County for 8th and 9th graders from Clark, Champaign,

Logan & Madison counties!

JA Career Speaker Series™

In JA Career Speakers Series, a volunteer guest speaker visits the
classroom (also available in a virtual format) and shares information

about his or her career, work, and education experience.

ALL GRADE LEVELS K-12TH

3 methods of Implementation: 1) taught by in-person volunteer, 2)
virtual pre-recorded video using 3-5 minute volunteer segments that

augment teacher-led sessions or 3) virtual volunteer by Zoom.

JA High School Heroes™

JA High School Heroes provides leadership development opportunities to high
school students who deliver JA programs in elementary schools.

(Grades 9-12) Students that teach High School Heroes can apply for
local scholarships and a 25% tuition discount at National University.

JA Company Program®

JA Company Program empowers high school students to fill a need or solve a problem in
their community and teaches them practical skills required to conceptualize, capitalize,

JA Company Program
Pop Up

Teaches students how to plan, launch, and operate their own business venture
within a structured, guided experience. Throughout the start-up process,

students collaborate, make crucial business decisions, practice communication
skills, and develop entrepreneurial knowledge and skills. (Grades 6-12)

JA Career Success®

JA Career Success equips students with the knowledge required to
get and keep a job in high-growth industries. Students will explore
the crucial workplace skills employers seek but often find lacking in
young employees. Students also will learn about valuable tools to

find that perfect job, including resumes, cover letters, and
interviewing techniques. (Grades 9-12)

JA Career Success
Blended®

Classroom Based After SchoolVirtual
JA Career Success Blended Model is an engaging and comprehensive

program that introduces high school students to the workplace. As
interns, students participate in realistic work experiences in multiple

departments of a fictional company, Orbit Boom. The program
teaches soft skills and business best practices in the context of
scenarios and assignments. The program consists of seven 45-

minute sessions and 10 optional sessions. (Grades 9-12)

JA Personal Finance®2.0

JA Personal Finance Blended Model allows students to experience the
interrelationship between today’s financial decisions and future financial freedom.

To achieve financial health and wellness, they learn about money-management
strategies, including earning, employment and income, budgeting, savings, credit
and debt, consumer protection, smart shopping, risk management, and investing.

JA Titan® Blended Model

JA Titan Blended Model is a simulation-based program in which high school
students compete as business CEOs in the phone industry, experiencing
firsthand how an organization evaluates alternatives, makes decisions,

analyzes the outcomes of those decisions, and then strategizes what to do
next. (Grades 9-12)

Future™

Through JA Take Stock in Your Future, students discover the benefits

Creative Problem Solving, students learn and apply design thinking, an

innovative process for problem solving used by entrepreneurs (and
intrapreneurs) to brainstorm customer-centric ideas. (Grades 9-12)

and entrepreneurship concepts, students will learn a practical approach to
starting a business and making smart decisions about managing money.

their futures brighter. (Grade 5) This volunteer-led, kit-based learning
experience is available for classroom-based or remote classroom
