DnD the colloseum of the drow druids

PART ONE- a mysterious letter 
 
You are called by a mysterious figure into the smog to gather a letter. Upon 
receiving the letter you read it aloud to any and all your comrades.​ have the 
one getting the letter roll a perception check. If they roll a 6 of better, than they 
notice that ​the man who has called them there is a drow druid. 

“M​ y name is achlabod crayne, leader of the dark druid clan. You have been invited to 
fight in the fall colosseum at 12:00 noon on sunday. On your way here please be aware that 
there are many strangers, crooks, and monsters on your way here. Signed,​ I.C “ 

After they read the letter read the following: ​On your way out the door 
you notice that the mail carrier is gone. You also notice that the fence round 
your house is completely totaled and there are footprints circling your 
ENTIRE house. 

ASK THE FOLLOWING: 
-do you go to the colosseum now or get some sleep first? 
-do you pack first or just wing it? 
 
PART TWO-the city of abburth 
 
The city is packed with the bustling of creatures of all kind finding a 
room for the colosseum match in four days. As you enter the city all the men 
women and children stare at you… than aplaude. 
As the players enter deeper into the city they roll PERCEPTION CHECK to 
notice the druids hidden among the crowd. If they roll a 10 or more read the 
following: T​ HE DRUIDS ARE EVERYWHERE, THEY WATCH YOU WITH PALE EYES 
 
 
PART THREE- mushroom 
 
As you continue on you notice that the city seems to never end. The 
mushroom on the side of the road glow with you. Each one lights up with the 
motion of heat. I​ f your character is a wizard or drow, you stop to examine the 
shrooms.​ I​ f they roll a dex check and get a 5 or more than they move before the 

shrooms explode in there face and deal 2 damage.​ As the players continue on, they 
roll a perception check, ten or higher notices the 3 goblins that are on the right side 
of the road. If they do notice read the following: ​The goblins jump out on the 
right side of the road. You noticed them first and get the first 2 swings.​ If 
they don’t notice, read the following: 
~ Before you can notice, the goblins jump out and fire a blow dart at the 
closest player and deal 5 damage!~ 
As the players battle the goblins more and more goblins keep being spotted in the 
bushes on the other side of the road.​ ​Roll strength check, 15 or more gets any 
player on top of the diamond druid statue for 6 free arrow shots. 
 
PART FOUR-colosseum 
 

The colosseum is a large sandstone building with six doors and four 
exits. As you enter the colosseum the exits close with a large crash, sending 
echoes bouncing off walls and into your ears.​ Roll a history check to see if you 
overcome the noise (9 or more) If they succeed carry on, if they fail, read the 
following: t​ he ringing in your ears does not stop, it continues until you can't 
take it anymore, you suffer one damage.the announcer yells out: “FIGHT!” 

The players must fight 2 goblins, then 1 druid champion= 1 drider, and then 3 
hobgoblins. If they survive these attacks than they continue on with the 
announcer saying “​and now! You must continue to fight in the real match 
tomorrow! That is when you will be killed! Filthy heroes of the faerun!” 
 
PART FIVE-drider one 
 

The players must return to the house they stay at to find the next clue. If 
they return to the inn than read the following: ​As you enter the door creaks 
slowly. You notice all the lights are off even though you turned them on 
before you left. The fires out to and it was lit before you left. H​ ave the players 
roll a perception check (7 or more) if they succeed than they notice a letter on the 
chair. The latter reads: ​You will be killed tomorrow and if you do not show up than we 
will find you and the drow leader shnoke will kill you himself! -achlabod crayne  

The players then hear a rasping knock on the door D​ PC, OPEN UP!! ​If the players 
roll a history check of 10 or more than they know that ​DPC stands for DROW 
POLICE CORPS ​ Also, read the following: T​ he door bursts open revealing about 3 
drow warriors. Behind them is the most terrifying sight ever to behold.. A 
DRIDER! 
 

Ask the following:  
-Do you attack the drow? 
-Attack the drider? 
-Do you run? 
 
PART SIX-drider2 
 

The players must fight and kill the drider to continue to this part. If the 
drider is not defeated than read the following: T​ he drider continues to follow 
the group killing everything and anyone in its path. When the drider 
reaches you it swings its leg at you to deal five damage. Roll a successful 
dexterity check. ​(10 or higher) If the drider has been defeated then read the 
following.​ The driders legs twitch as it lies dead. Upon its last dying breath it 
whispers into the mist: “The exit is closed… find Bathlag-” and the creature 
dies. 
 
PART SEVEN-bathlagorn 
 

Bathlagorn batrox will be found in the red tower in the center square. Read 
the following: Y​ ou travel to center square in search of the man named 
bathlag as the drider told you before death. I​ f the players roll over a 15 on a 
history check, than they remember that bathlagorn batrox is a retired member of 
the thunder corps. Read the following: ​As you enter center square, you see a 
man with a large metal blade in the center of the room. He smiles at you as 
you approach as if you have been meeting him here on purpose. He quickly 
grabs you and rushes into the corner before you are spotted by DROW 
DRUIDS. 

 
 
PART EIGHT-drizzt 
 

The players know who bathlagorn is and learn a terrible secret. Read the 
following: ​The man named bathlagorn says “DRIZZT IS IN TROUBLE! YOU 
MUST HELP ME SAVE HIM OR THE DOWS WILL KILL HIM!” ​If the players get 
into the dungeon and find drizzt, then continue in the journey. When drizzt is 
rescued, the citizens are released of the curse that makes them evil.
