part of speech
คืออะไร

มันก็คือ “ชนิดของคำ”
หรือ “คำชนิดต่างๆ”
นั่นเอง ซึ่งแบ่งออก
เป็น 8 ชนิดด้วยกัน

1. คำนาม (Noun)
2. คำสรรพนาม (Pronoun)
3. คำคุณศั พท์ (Adjective)
4. คำกริยา (Verb)
5. กริยาวิเศษณ์ (Adverb)
6. คำบุพบท (Preposition)
7. คำสันธาน (Conjunction)
8. คำอุทาน (Interjection)

คำนาม Noun

คือคำที่ใช้แทน คน สัตว์ สิ่ งของ
สถานที่
ตัวอย่างคำนาม

Noun ใช้แทนคน เช่น boy,
girl, dad, mom, teacher,
student, etc.
Noun ใช้แทนสัตว์ เช่น dog,
cat, pig, cow, monkey,
mouse, etc.
Noun ใช้แทนสิ่ งของ เช่น
pen, pencil, car, chair,
table, TV, etc.
Noun ใช้แทนสถานที่ เช่น
school, bank, market, mall,
airport, etc.

ตัวอย่างประโยค

A boy is running.
เด็กชายกำลังวิ่ง

A dog is big.
สุนั ขตัวใหญ่

A pen is blue.
ปากกาน้ำเงิน

A bank is large.
ธนาคารกว้างขวาง

คำสรรพนาม Pronoun

Pronoun คือคำที่ใช้แทนคำนาม

It us พวกเรา

I love you.
ฉั นรักคุณ

He loves her.
เขารักหล่อน

It is a dog.
มันคือสุนั ข

คำคุณศั พท์ Adjective

Adjective คือคำที่ใช้ขยายคำนาม
หรือสรรพนาม

บอกให้รู้ว่านามมีลักษณะรู ปร่างหน้ าตาเป็นอย่างไร

good ดี
bad เลว, แย่
tall สูง
short ต่ำ
black ดำ
white ขาว

ตัวอย่างประโยค

He is a good boy.
เขาเป็นเด็กดี



It is a bad dog.
มันคือสุนั ขที่แย่



Sam is tall.
แซมตัวสูง



Tom is short.

ทอมตัวเตี้ย



The dog is white.
สุนั ขสี ขาว

คำกริยา Verb

Verb คือคำที่แสดงการกระทำ แสดงสภาวะ

Verb คำกริยาบอกให้รู้ว่าใคร “ทำอะไร” เช่น

stand ยืน
walk เดิน
sit นั่ ง
sleep นอน
swim ว่ายน้ำ
go ไป
come มา

I stand here.
ผมยืนตรงนี้



She walks to school.
หล่อนเดินไปโรงเรียน



They sleep on the bed.

พวกเขานอนบนเตียง



We go to school by car.
พวกเราไปโรงเรียนโดยรถยนต์



They come from China.
พวกเขามาจากประเทศจีน

คำกริยาวิเศษณ์ Adverb

Adverb คือคำที่ขยายกริยา หรือคุณศั พท์
Adverb ขยายคำกริยาบอกให้รู้ว่าทำ
“ที่ไหน เมื่อไหร่ อย่างไร” เช่น

here ที่นี่

there ที่นั่ น

today วันนี้

tomorrow พรุ่งนี้

slowly อย่างช้าๆ

quickly อย่างเร็ว

หล่อนนั่ งที่นั่ น

คำบุพบท Preposition

Preposition คือคำที่ใช้
แสดงความสั มพันธ์ของคำ

บอกให้รู้ว่าอยู่
“ที่ไหน เวลาใด อย่างไร”

in ใน by โดย
on บน with กับ
at ที่, เวลา to ไปสู่

I sleep in the room.

ผมนอนในห้อง



She sits on the chair.
หล่อนนั่ งบนเก้าอี้


I am at home.
ฉั นอยู่ที่บ้าน



We go to school by car..
พวกเราไปโรงเรียนโดยรถยนต์



She goes to the bank every day.

หล่อนไปตลาดทุกวัน

คำสันธาน Conjunction

Conjunction คือคำที่ใช้เชื่อมคำ วลี
หรือประโยค เข้าด้วยกัน

F for เพราะ
A and และ
N nor ไม่ทั้งคู่
B but แต่
O or หรือ
Y yet แต่
S so ดังนั้น

ตัวอย่างประโยค



I like cats and dogs.
ผมชอบแมวและหมา



I like cats but I don’t like dog.

ฉั นชอบแมวแต่ฉั นไม่ชอบหมา



Boys or girls can swim here.
เด็กหญิงหรือเด็กชายก็สามารถว่ายน้ำที่นี่ ได้



I walk slowly for I’m tired.
ฉันเดินอย่างช้าๆ เพราะว่าฉันเหนื่อย

คำอุทาน Interjection

Interjection คือคำสั้นๆ
ที่ใช้แสดงอารมณ์ ความรู้สึก

Hurray – ไชโย
Oh โอ – โอ้
Ouch – โอ๊ย
Ah – โอ้

Ahem – อะแฮ่ม
Alas – โถ, โอ้
Aha – อะฮ้า
