EVENT ENTRY FEES

Thanks to our wonderful sponsors all the events, mini games, rides, huckfest, group campfire,
benefit raffle and pot luck are FREE. We only ask ONE simple thing of each person that attends
our events and activities: Please sign in with an event official at the UTV TAKEOVER tent. If you
can’t make it to the tent then you can also sign in at any of our events. Once signed in you are
good to go for the whole weekend. It is FREE and only takes a simple signature.

AREA 2 - TENT AREA ACTIVITIES

BENEFIT RAFFLE

This event was created “BY THE RIDERS FOR THE RIDERS” to help raise funds for multiple
charities while giving back to the enthusiasts that have helped this industry continue to grow.
While you are enjoying all the FREE events please swing by the UTV TAKEOVER tent and
purchase a few raffle tickets to help support the cause. We are giving away over $20,000 in
prizes from some of the biggest companies in the industry. Tickets are available daily during tent
hours. Please see the schedule for more information about the benefit raffle.

DEMO RIDES

Swing by the POLARIS vendor booth to check out all the latest models and products offered by
POLARIS. If just looking and tire kicking leaves you wanting more, then make sure to sign up for
the FREE demo rides taking place throughout the day. Each ride will last approximately 30
minutes giving you plenty of time to try out your next purchase.

ROCK-N-ROLL BINGO

Join us in the main event tent for a family-friendly fun game of ROCK-N-ROLL BINGO and a
chance to win some great prizes from our sponsors. It is FREE to play and a blast for all ages.
ROCK-N-ROLL BINGO is similar to standard Bingo where you can win by completing a vertical,
horizontal or diagonal line or by getting combinations like “four corners” and “black out”. Each
board consists of artist names and song titles, with each song playing for approximately 30
seconds. Play continues until a winning combination is achieved. Winning combinations will be
chosen each night by our MC DuneStar Don.

KIDS ZONE

Between rides and other activities make sure to bring your kids down to the all-new UTV
TAKEOVER Kids Zone located near the main event tent. The Kids Zone is full of fun activities for
all ages like coloring, crafts and more. This is not a daycare and all kids must be supervised at all
times by at least one parent or guardian.
DAY TIME SHOW-N-SHINE

Show off your bling, motor mods and custom parts in front of over 1,000 people. All vehicles are
welcome to join but only one vehicle will be crowned the UTV TAKEOVER Champion. Vehicles will
be displayed in front of the main stage during our benefit raffle and potluck dinner. Spectators
will have a chance to vote for their favorite.

First place: $100.00 & 4 raffle tickets
Second place: $50.00 & 2 raffle tickets

NIGHT TIME SHOW-N-SHINE

Show off your lights, whips and ground glow in front of over 1,000 people. All vehicles are
welcome to join but only one vehicle will be crowned the UTV TAKEOVER Champion. Vehicles will
be displayed in front of the main stage during the Friday night concert. Spectators will have a
chance to vote for their favorite.

First place: $100.00 & 4 raffle tickets
Second place: $50.00 & 2 raffle tickets

BBQ COOK OFF CHAMPIONSHIPS

Show off your cooking skills during our POT LUCK dinner for a chance to WIN one of two
smokers. To enter participants must bring (2) racks of baby back ribs to the POT LUCK dinner.
Participants must be camping at Takeover (anywhere from Boxcar to Spinreel). Participants
must cook their ribs at their campsite and transport them to the main event tent for judging and
for all to enjoy.

First place: JIM BOWE GMG wood fired pellet grill with accessories.
Second place: Davy Crockett GMG wood fired on the go tailgater pellet grill.

AREA 3 - OPEN DUNES ACTIVITIES

GROUP RIDES
Better fill your tank folks - this is going to be a long-spirited ride. However, this is not a race and
there are no prizes to be won. Drive at the speed you are comfortable with and enjoy the ride. If
you are looking to go faster please start near the front. If you are looking to go slower start near
the middle or end. Please be respectful of other drivers, riders and skill levels. These rides will
cover approximately 50 miles from Boxcar Campground down to Spinreel Campground and back.
NIGHT RIDES

Same as the Day Rides except, this ride will make its return near Houser Road. Again, this is not
a race and there are no prizes to be won. Drive at the speed you are comfortable with and enjoy
the ride. If you are looking to go faster please start near the front. If you are looking to go
slower start near the middle or end. Please be respectful of other drivers, riders and skill levels.
These rides will cover approximately 25 miles from Boxcar Campground down to Hauser Road
and back.
UTV AND JEEP DUNE TOUR
If traveling at high speeds like in our group rides and night rides is not your thing, then make
sure to check out our “Dune Tour”. The Dune Tour will be led by one of our local JEEP clubs and
will cover the dunes from Boxcar out to the beach and back. This will be a family-friendly ride at
slow speeds and is a perfect time for new riders and families to get out of camp and the event
area to explore the open dunes.

UTV TAKEOVER TREASURE HUNT

We now have two ways to complete and finish our Treasure Hunt.
Compete as a TEAM or as a GROUP

Participants may only enter one (1) time either as a TEAM or a GROUP - participants will not be
allowed to do both.

TEAM = Teams must have a minimum of (2) people and maximum of (4) people
GROUP = Groups must have a minimum of (10) people and maximum of (20) people

Packages will be available for pick-up Thursday, Friday and Saturday during tent hours.

Packages can be turned in and checked Thursday, Friday or Saturday between 5:30 pm and 6:00
pm

Packages will not be accepted after 6:00 pm on Saturday night.

Each Selfie completed is worth 1 point
Each location found is worth 5 Points

Contestant TEAMS/GROUPS must get a whole TEAM/GROUP selfie at the location marker with
the marker number visible in each picture as this is the proof your entire TEAM/GROUP made it
to the correct destination. Teams/Groups must have at least one photo for each location.

TEAM First place: $100.00 & 4 raffle tickets
TEAM Second place: $50.00 & 2 raffle tickets

GROUP First place: $200.00 & 4 raffle tickets

AREA 5 - DRAG STRIP ACTIVITIES

SxS WARS / ATV WARS

Helmets must be worn to participate. Two (2) drivers will simultaneously travel down the drag
strip in individual lanes - first one to the end wins. Races will start when the lights turn green
and the winner will be determined via photo finish. This is a double elimination competition
where the winner moves on and the loser becomes a spectator after two losses. Only the biggest
and best will survive elimination and be crowned UTV TAKEOVER Champion.

DRAG STRIP – TEST AND TUNE

Helmets must be worn to participate. Two (2) drivers will simultaneously travel down the drag
strip in individual lanes - first one to the end wins. It is test and tune time, so show up to run the
course, race your friends or dial in your machine. You can race for side bets, race for bragging
rights or just run the track for extra practice. All vehicles are welcome, mild to wild and ATV to
UTV.

AREA 9 - MINI GAME AREA ACTIVITIES

LATE FOR A COSTUME PARTY

Three (3) teams at a time will race their SxS 150 ft. to a TAKEOVER barrel. There, one team
member will get out of their SxS and dress up in the costume provided, including the head piece,
and then race back to the finish line. The two fastest teams of each round move on to the next
round until there is only one team left.

First prize: $40.00 & 4 raffle tickets
Second prize: $20.00 & 2 raffle tickets

FARMERS DASH

Like musical chairs except done with UTVs, drivers will circle their rides to the right around the
green safety barrels. When the air horn blows, the contestants will stop their machines and the
passenger will dash towards the potatoes in the middle of the course. Always one potato short,
someone will be left out. Play will resume until only one UTV remains.

First place: $40.00 & 4 raffle tickets
Second place: $20.00 & 2 raffle tickets

BLIND BANDIT

While blind folded, drivers will have to navigate their SxS through a tight obstacle course while
only receiving verbal instructions from their passenger. Once the team has gathered all the
money bags on the course , the driver will have to end the challenge by reversing their SxS into a
hideout. This is a timed event - fastest time wins.

First place: $40.00 & 4 raffle tickets
Second place: $20.00 & 2 raffle tickets

NATIONAL LAMPOON‘S DUNE VACATION

Participants will have to compete in a UTV series of challenges based off the hit movies “National
Lampoon’s Christmas & Vegas Vacation”. Participants must have at least two (2) people in each
UTV. This is a timed event - fastest time wins.

First place: $40.00 & 4 raffle tickets
Second place: $20.00 & 2 raffle tickets

TIRE TOSS COMPETITION

Come show off your strength in our tire toss competition. Furthest throw wins.

ATV YOUTH HANDS ON TRAINING CLASS

Have your kids taken the online test? Do they still need to take the “Hands On Training” to
qualify for their ATV safety card? If so we have great news for you. We have teamed up with the
Salem Sand Club to offer a training class on Friday and Saturday during UTV Takeover. Make
sure to pre-register your child online prior to Friday, then swing by our kids training area located
in the sand just east of the main track. See the schedule and maps for additional information.

ATC 70 OLYMPICS

Do you have a tricked out or stock ATC 70? Are you over 16 years old and like to rip through
camp and the dunes on your three-wheeler? If so then join us for our all-new ATC 70 Olympics.
Each participant will have to compete in three (3) different events to see who has the best all-
around machine. Participants will compete on our short course to test handling, our drag strip to
test speed and in barrel racing to test rider skill. Participants will gather points in each event
with the overall winner being determined by the total points accumulated.

First place: $40.00 & 4 raffle tickets
Second place: $20.00 & 2 raffle tickets

BARREL RACING

Contestants will make their way around three (3) barrels and then back through to the
Start/Finish line. This is a timed event - fastest time wins.

QUADs: First place: $40.00 & 4 raffle tickets

KIDs: First place: $20.00 & 2 raffle tickets

AREA 10 - SHORT COURSE ACTIVITIES

SAND OUTLAWS – TEST AND TUNE
Helmets must be worn to participate. Two (2) drivers will simultaneously travel on the same
track while starting and finishing on two separate but equal lanes. Be prepared - this course
covers the length of two football fields and contains action-packed elevation changes, jumps,
crossovers and hurdles. It is test and tune time, so show up to run the course, race your friends
or dial in your machine. You can race for side bets, race for bragging rights or just run the track
for extra practice.

SAND OUTLAWS

Helmets must be worn to participate. Two (2) drivers will simultaneously travel on the same
track while starting and finishing on two separate but equal lanes. Be prepared this course
covers the length of two football fields and contains action packed elevation changes, jumps,
crossovers and hurdles. This is a single elimination competition where the winner moves on and
the loser becomes a spectator.
