YEAR 3 PBL:MY DAILY ROUTINE

Pupils’ Prior Knowledge (Pre-Phase Project) :

 Pupils were exposed to the following language input prior to the project:
1) Present simple for daily routines such as get up, have breakfast, do homework, have a shower
2) Sentence structures:
- I…in the morning.
- I…before bedtime.

Project Implementation :

Phase Activity
Phase 1
24th April 2020  Pupils receive the task regarding the project via WhatsApp.
(Starting the Project)  Pupils refer to Superminds textbook (pg. 21) and other resources

Phase 2 for reference.
27th April 2020 –  Pupils decide on how many daily routines they want to write given

7th May 2020 the minimum of 8.
(Developing the  Pupils are given the weekend to look for the materials needed.

Project) Pupils are encouraged to use any kind of paper to create their
scrapbook.
Phase 3  For any inquiry, pupils will have on-going discussions with the
8th May 2020 teacher via WhatsApp.
(Project Submission)
 Pupils start off their project. They are allowed to seek help from
family members to complete the project for the pictures in the
scrapbook. Pupils can choose to print or cut pictures from any
resources and paste them in the scrapbook. If these are not
available, pupils have to draw the pictures themselves or with the
help from their family members.

 Once they have written their daily routines and pasted or drawn
pictures, pupils compile all the pages and make it into a scrapbook.

 Teacher checks their progress from time to time and provides
continuous long-distance guidance.

 Pupils are required to submit their project by sending pictures of the
scrapbook and its content through WhatsApp.

 Taking into consideration the internet connection problem in the
area, exception is given to pupils who are having problem to submit
their work. Alternatively:

- Pupils could submit the scrapbook after the due date once their internet
connection is good and stable.
-If there is hardly any connection that allow them to send the pictures,
pupils could submit it once school re-opens.

 Pupils are also reminded to keep their project intact and to
submit it once the school re-opens.
