Laura Mitchell, CWC member and Superintendent of Cincinnati
Public Schools, began her career as a teacher at Central Fairmount
Elementary School. She has worked to increase the academic
achievement of under-performing schools in Cincinnati Public
Schools, and has been nationally recognized for her efforts. Laura
will speak about CPS’s “Preparing Students for Life” program,
which is designed to help students with career readiness through
academic achievement.
