About the Engraving Provided

FullSize and MidSized Urns (Does not include Wood & Marble Urns):

Please note: all FullSize urns denoted with an asterisk (*) can be engraved with at least 3 lines of
text. Many of the urns denoted with an asterisk (*) can also be engraved with an image. The ability
to engrave the image on the urn is limited by the surface area available for engraving.
If the engraving is on an urn that does not have an enamel finish, it will be treated with an oxidizer
to give the text a darker coloring. If, on the other hand, the urn has enamel, the urn will not be
oxidized and the underlying metal will create the color contrast.

If the addition of a small image engraving is desired, the placement of the engraved artwork will
be determined by whether there are full dates on the urn or just the years on the urn. The size of
the small artwork engraving is between 1" - 2". See the following page for examples of image
placement.

HeartShape & KeepSake:

Please note: all Keepsake & HeartShape urns denoted with an asterisk (*) can be
engraved with 2 or 3 lines of text. The urn itself and the amount of engraving
desired will dictate whether 2 or 3 lines are utilized in the engraving process.
Engraving Images on HeartShape & KeepSake Urns:
Images can be engraved (space permitting) on Amber Gold, Nickel, & Slate urns.

Wood Urns: PPPPPP 

Wood urns are broken into 3 categories.

Wood urns marked with a ^ are personalized at no additional cost with a brass plate
that holds 2 lines of text. These urns are stocked at Brown-Wilbert and will be shipped
out the same business day if ordered by our daily cut-off times.

Wood Urns marked with a ᵈ are engraved and lacquered to order by an offsite artisan
engraver. Additional days will be required for completion and personalization.
(Expedited shipping of these urns may be available at an additional cost.)

If an urn is NOT being engraved (or is only having a brass plate attached) AND is
denoted by a ᵈˢ these urns are also stocked at Brown-Wilbert These urns will be
shipped out the same business day if ordered by our daily cut-off times.

CUSTOM PHOTO OR IMAGE URNS require a MINIMUM of 2 business days for
production after approval is received. Urns ship on the 3rd business day. Additional
charges may apply for custom imagery or any expedited shipping.

Our non-traditional urn shapes all hold a nominal amount of
cremains. For Size reference, the candles shown in the
