A COURAGEOUS BIRD

• Once upon a time, there live a mighty crocodile in the
jungle. He love to eat and he eats all the time. One
day, he found out difficult to clean his mouth and
struggling in cleaning it. Suddenly, a plover bird saw
a crocodile lying quietly. The plover bird came
towards the crocodile and asked the crocodile “What
are you doing mr. crocodile?”. The crocodile then
answered “Can’t you see that i’m struggling in
cleaning my mouth”. Food stuck in crocodile’s mouth
can cause infection. The plover bird asked the
crocodile to open up his mouth so that she could clean
his mouth.



• Without asking any questions, the crocodile obeyed and opened
his mouth. She gets into the crocodile’s mouth and picks out the
tiny bits of food stuck in his teeth. She eats them and often this
completes her diet. This cleans the crocodile’s teeth and keeps
his mouth fresh and free from infections. So, the plover bird gets
her food and the crocodile gets his mouth cleaned. In this way,
both are able to help each other .
