SUMMER CAMP

Calvary Chapel Christian Preschool is excited to extend our Pre-
school Program through the summer months.
Our Preschool Summer Program will begin June 1,2020 and will
end July 31,2020. During this time, we will be closed the week of
June 29 th -July 3 rd .
The Summer Program will offer a camp environment with weekly
themes that come with fun new activities and a modified daily
curriculum. We believe these are the most important
years for your child to learn and want to cater to their growth and
development while exploring and having fun!

SESSION ONE

SUMMER SAFETY

JUNE 1-5

School’s out for summer! Join us as we learn
the ABC’s of fun and safety in the sun!

Through games,art and exploration campers
will the importance of water, sun and bicycle

s a f e t y.

Mini Med School

JUNE 8-12

Is there a doctor in camp? Join us this
summer as we bring Mini Med School to
camp! Our little doctors will use stuffed
animal patients to take blood pressure
readings, give “stitches”, put on a cast and
make their own first aid kit, all while learn-
ing lots about what doctors, dentists, EMT’s
and other medical professionals do on a

daily basis.

SESSION TWO

INFINITY & BEYOND

JUNE 15-19

5,4, 3, 2, 1 blast off to a galaxy far, far away
to learn about Earth and the amazing solar

system. Discover all things galactic such as
comets, planets, shooting stars, rockets and

more. Learn about flight, the adventures of
space travel, and participate in a rocket
launch!

ROCKETS, PLANES &
FLYING THINGS

JUNE 22-26

Watch it soar, see it glide, come take a ride
with rockets, planes and flying things! We
will build flying machines, test gliders and
soar to the moon through art, stories and
lots of play! Our adventures will sharpen

your imagination, kick start your motor
skills and ignite a passion for flying!

JULY 6-10

Grab your goggles and lab coat; we are on a
scientific discovery mission! Explore the
world of science through everyday objects

such as food and nature. Learn the science
behind the things we use in our daily lives.

There will be some explosions, a few cre-
ations and a whole lot of discoveries. Don’t

miss out on this mission!

GREEN THUMB CLUB

JULY 13-17

Catch a ladybug, chase a firefly and grow a
garden... all while learing about nature and
the world around us through stories, songs,
art, exploration and imaginary play. Green

Thumb Club campers will create nature
based crafts through tactile activies and

developmentally appropriate science
investigations.

JULY 20-24

Our D-I-Y camp is for all you artsy-crafty kids
who love to express yourselves with

one-of-a-kind masterpieces like canvas art,
bead making and watercolors. Find your inner

artist and keep your creativity sharp this
summer as design many mementos to be

treasured.

BUILDERS IN TRAINING

JULY 27-31

Calling all inventors, creators, builders,
and designers! Come build some awesome
creations with us! We will create our own

designs and make structures using
recyclable materials, Legos and many other
interesting items. Skills necessary... none!

Skills gained: communication, problem
solving, reasoning, developing creativity,

and team work.

SUMMER CAMP

Our hours for the summer will be 7:30am-5:00pm. Summer Camp
will be offered in a full day and half day program and is structured
so that you can sign up by the month or in two week sessions.
This will accommodate those students that only want to come part
time or part of the summer. Late fees for pick up after 11:30am on
half day and 5:00 pm on full days will be charged at a rate of $1 per
minute.
Camp is offered to all current PK3 and PK4 students as well as
those CCCS students entering Kindergarten. All students must
have a current application on file with the Preschool
including birth certificate and updated immunization records.
For those students attending full day camp, lunch is NOT provid-
ed. Please pack a healthy snack, lunch and water bottle for your
student. Full day students will also need to bring a light
blanket to use during rest time. All students should pack a water
bottle and healthy snack.
The Preschool will be closed the week of June 29th - July 3rd in
observance of Independence Day and August 3rd - 7th in prepara-
tion for the new school year.
