THE FALLEN FEATHER PROJECT

Presbyterian Women United invites you to attend Retired Army Recruiter Graham
Webb III’s program on the Fallen Feather Project, which he founded in 2012 to honor
Ohio veterans who lost their lives in the Iraq and Afghanistan War. Skilled
woodcarvers craft 16 inch feathers, one for each fallen service member, from native
Ohio woods. An appropriate design is created and stained, painted or ornamented to
reflect in a personal way that individual. The memorial is part of the Ohio Society of
Military History in Massillon. Please join us as Mr. Webb gives a very visual
presentation and shares inspiring stores about the lives of the fallen and the carvers
on Tuesday, May 16th in Fellowship Hall at 1:30 p.m. Christian Life Circle will be

WPC has supported Rebuilding Together Central Ohio for more than 20
years. Their goal is to keep homes safe, healthy, warm and dry. Rebuilding
Together serves the elderly and low income homeowners. On Saturday, May
6th, volunteers will make 16 homes in Whitehall become safe, warm and dry.
Lori’s home will receive repairs to the bathroom, numerous electrical repairs,
a sump pump to remove water from her basement, floor repairs, roof leak,
and landscaping. Nationwide, 275,000 volunteers will repair more than 8,500
homes during this very special event on May 6th.

John Hamilton, WPC member, has volunteered for 23 years as a
Rebuilding Together House Captain.
