It is with great hakaras hatov to Hashem
that my fundraising endeavors

Heights Kollel has not changed

I am only 3 hours away, yet just

A home away from home where at almost any time of the day or night, people,
young and older, are found, engaging in the one activity that guarantees the
continuation of Judaism and our heritage. Whether it is Gemara, Chumash, Navi,
Kesuvim, Mussar, or children’s sefer, the sound of Torah emanates the rooms of
the Kollel. The excitement of the learning is at times deafening, yet the
concentration is rarely effected but instead, truly enhanced. The new Kollel
building may have been thought to be a fantasy, but the reality of this structure is
a dream come true. Rabbi Katz never let the dream escape his mind, nor lose his
faith in HKBH to help open the door of a place that would be a magnet for Torah
study. It is truly a glowing place that attracts people of all Hashkofot, whose sole
purpose is to get closer to Hashem and build a bridge to bring Kedusha to our
very souls. The Kollel has become in a way synonymous with Hashem, that is, it is
a MAKOM to study alone or with a group. Our PLACE to grow. Although our sons
live out of town, they come to the Kollel on their visits, and they take with them
the ambience that was given to them by Rabbi Katz years ago. The building may
be new, but the Torah that it represents, teaches, and lives, has echoed in the
abundant Seforim found here and in the minds of all who sit (or stand) learning
throughout this incredible structure.
We wish continued success and growth to Rabbi Katz and all who come to share
in Hashem’s wisdom and life.
