PREFACE

“Who doesn’t like sports? Spirit, Strength, Skill, Stamina, all
these things have tremendous importance in sports world.
These four qualities are essential for individual victory as well
as for nation building. When the youth of the nation possesses
these qualities, that nation reaches the summit not only in
science, economy and technology, but the sports as well.”

Shri Narendra Modi,
Prime Minister, Government of India, New Delhi

This book evolved from 1800 MCQ on general rules
and regulations of the sports, games & research process in
physical education and sports sciences courses at the
undergraduate and post graduate levels at the Indian
Universities. It has been written for present and future
empirical readers in the field of Physical Education. This book
will help the learners to learn and understand the meaning of
various disciplines of sports and games in vast.

In this book from Question no 1 to 650 is based on the
various simple rules and regulations of various games and
sports. Questions no 651 to 1600 are based on Olympics and
various sports science aspects. Question no 1601 to 1800 is
dedicatedly constructed on the basis of use of statistics in the
field of Physical Education and sports sciences research.

I have tried to approximately cite past literature, old
and new, and to give due credit. Despite my best efforts, I
hope there are no oversights. At last I hope this E-book will be
pioneer for aspirants of National Eligibility Test (NET), State
Eligibility Test (SET) and all other competitive examinations in
the field of physical education and delivers what is promised
