The Trinity de Cartier** eyewear collection

invents a new Parisian attitude, reflecting a

sparkling and feminine vision of Cartier style.

Black, red or tortoiseshell effect, round shape,

ovale or rectangular, half fatale, half ingenuous,

this collection of optical glasses radiates with its

precious assets.

From the side, the temples present the three

interlinking Cartier bands. This iconic Cartier

jewellery feature creates a sensual look in pink,

white and yellow gold – the three luminous solar

colours that have set the pace of the legendary

ring since it was first launched by the Maison in

1924.

Eyewear that lights up the wearer's allure with a

spruce sophistication, enhanced by the

The year is 1904 and jeweller-watchmaker Louis

Cartier creates one of the first watch on a leather
strap so that his friend, the aviator Alberto Santos-
Dumont, can read the time while at the commands
of his plane.

Such an original creation didn't go unnoticed, and
Cartier was inundated with requests.

And so began the saga, a watch collection in the
style of this visionary and elegant character.

1978 saw the launch of the first to match gold with
steel. Its screw decor rapidly became a symbol that
Cartier would adapt to numerous product lines.
Now present on our titanium prescription frames,
the screw decor symbolises an encounter between
two moments in time: progress and tradition.

In 2002, the C signature is re-interpreted in a

finer version.

Slim, elongated, taut, the C Decor makes
possible the subtle, sober structure of these
frames, the result of painstaking diamond
machining and polishing.

Extending to sunglasses and prescription
models, the C Decor gives this eyewear a true
signature and transforms it into a unique and
precious object.

A marriage of contrasts - straight lines and

imagined his first panther decor in 1914, only a
handful of people knew he had taken his
inspiration from Jeanne Toussaint, or “la
panthère” as she was known. The jeweller's
enlightened muse, this woman of impeccable
taste sported bobbed hair, endless strands of
pearls and a cigarette-holder held defiantly high.
She also nurtured a passion for this most
graceful of felines. Crouched, standing, poised to
pounce, the panther appears in multiple poses…

Cartier returns to this theme for a collection of
powerful and audacious eyewear in which the
panther becomes the true emblem of triumphant
sensuality.

For its new precious eyewear collection,

Cartier has drawn inspiration from an
emblematic decor of the House of Cartier, the
godron. This refined decor appeared for the first
time in the House Archives in 1913, on a
cigarette case. It was subsequently reprised on
the Tank eyewear in 1988.

The decor, which is at once pure and graphic,
and rooted in the House legacy, signs this new
masculine aesthetic with style and distinction.
White gold blends with pink and yellow gold
with white to reveal the decor ideally: this new
signature is adorned with a two-tone decor, a
precious detail.

In its jewellery version the Double C Decor, is

adorned in elegance and finery. Distinguished
and bearing the Cartier initials, as a signature of
the Art Deco precious eyewear.

A white, pink or yellow gold signature that
drapes itself in black lacquer or adopts a
princess-cut ruby or diamond paving as the
mood takes it.

The colour combinations and infinitely variable
geometry of these jewellery creations recall the
Art Déco style that is very much a part of
Cartier's heritage.
