SCIENCE FAIR 2023 Let’s talk about a magical world – Science Exhibition. Imagine a place where everything from the tiniest atom to the vast universe comes alive! A science exhibition is just that – a vibrant showcase of the wonders of science. It’s a place where ideas get wings, where questions find answers, and where learning becomes fun. The MGPS Science exhibition was a thrilling event. It was a place where learners explored the wonders of science through fun and interactive displays. But why were the science exhibitions important? This is a question that was answered after the exhibitions!! The learners’ understood the world around us. The exhibitions took learners on a journey from the classrooms to the real world. It was demonstrated that science is not just about reading books and passing exams. It is about curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving. Moreover, science exhibitions are a great platform for young minds. Here, students could display their projects, share their ideas, and learn from others. KG SCIENCE FAIR 2023 2.4 Animals capture the hearts of children. Teaching how to care for animals in early learning settings can serve different purposes, from companionship to education. Interactions with animals help children build a sense of connection with their environment. It can help them learn about nature and the difference between wild and domesticated animals. In addition, pets can help children grow more confident, improve their self-esteem, social skills and overcome fears. Animals inspire children’s curiosity and provide children with meaningful experiences. At MGPS our educators put a great deal of thought into choosing suitable animals to introduce to children and discuss the importance of animals and how we can care for them.
National Day of Oman Oman’s National Day, But With a Difference As Oman prepares to celebrate National Day, the usual fervor is tempered by the sobering reality of the ongoing conflict in Palestine, claiming over 10,000 lives. This year, our festivities carry a somber undertone. However, let us use this occasion to showcase our unity and resilience. In solidarity with those affected, consider redirecting the celebration's focus towards acts of kindness and charity. Use the national flag as a symbol of remembrance, perhaps displaying it prominently in public spaces or organizing community flag-raising ceremonies. While the usual parades and displays may be subdued, let our commitment to peace and unity shine brightly. Engage in conversations that promote understanding and organize events advocating for global harmony. Despite the shadows of conflict, Oman's spirit remains unyielding. LIBRARY READING WEEK ARABIC 22nd October-2nd November 2023 4.1 القراءة لها أهمية كبيرة في جعل الطالب يكتسب المعرفة والمعلومات الجديدة والمفيدة والجدير بالذكر أنه كلما ازدادت معرفة الطالب أصبح أكثر قدرة عىل مواجهة الحياة من خالل استخدام معرفته المكتسبة من خالل مهارة القراءة . تساعد القراءة أيًضا عىل الحد من الضغط والتوتر الذي يمر به المرء في حياته الشخصية ، وهذا ما ندرسه لدى طالبنا عندما يتخلص الطالب من التوتر والقلق فإنه بذلك يمكنهم أن يتخلصوا من المواقف الصعبة التي ربما مرحبا بها أحدهم . لكل شخص ذوق خاص في القراءة ، فهناك من يفضل قراءة الروايات ، وهناك من يفضل قراءة األدب الكالسيكي ، ومنهم من يفضل قراءة الشعر، وهناك من يهوى قراءة المجاالت وكل ذلك ه يعد من مصادر الترفيه عن النفس والتسلية ، فكل فرد يقرأ فيما يرّف به عن نفسه . فمن شأن القراءة أن تنمي خيال الطالل، فعندما يقرأ الطالب كتاًبا أو رواية ما فإنه يوظف خياله في رسم الوجوه واألماكن واأللوان في مخيلته ، وبذلك تتسع مداركه ومخيلته مع مرور الوقت، مما يمنحه القدرة عىل استكشاف العالم من حوله ودخوله في تجارب جديدة .

SHORT STORY WRITING COMPETITION ARABIC 9th November 2023 5.1 كتابة القصص تعّد أداة حيوية وفاعلة لتنمية القدرات اللغوية ومحادثة، من خالل إثراء مخزونه من ًة والتعبيرية للطالب ، كتاب المفردات والعبارات واألفكار، وتعزيز ملكة الفهم واالستيعاب والتركيز لديه، األمر الذي يساعده عىل التعبير عن مشاعره وإيصال أفكاره بطريقة واضحة وضمن سياق منطقي كما تساعد الطالب عىل تطوير خياله نحو آفاق ال نهائية من األفكار والتصورات. فالخيال أساس االبتكار واإلبداع، فكل االختراعات العظمى في تاريخ جاءت من الخيال، ومن اإليمان بأن أي شيء تتخيله تستطيع أن تحققه. تساهم كتابة القصص والروايات في بناء منظومة القيم اإلنسانية واألخالقية للطالب منذ تشكل الوعي لديه، من خالل التمييز بين الخير والشر، والتفريق بين الخطأ والصواب، وترسيخ قيم التعاطف والرحمة والعطاء والمحبة والتعايش واإلخاء والتسامح وقبول اآلخر واالنفتاح الثقافي والحضاري؛ نحو اكتشاف عوالم الشعوب ًا عريض ًا فالقصص تفتح باب والثقافات عبر التاريخ واألجيال والمعتقدات.

ART COMPETITION “Art is the soul's silent language, a masterpiece that whispers emotions, screams, truths, and paints the unseen colours of the human experience." Our school’s art competition was a canvas of innovation, featuring two dynamic themes: "Tribute to Oman" and "Unlock the Creativity." Students painted vibrant odes to Oman's culture and nature while unleashing their boundless creativity. We celebrated creativity and techniques. The event transformed our school into an enchanting gallery with our students’ captivating artworks. The event allowed our students to express themselves freely. Table Tennis Tournament 12th-16th November 2023 8.1 تنسالطاولة تنس الطاولة من األلعاب الممتعة للغاية لدى الجميع ، الصغار والكبار عىل حد سواء ، وتحظى بشعبية وجماهيرية خاصة ، حيث أنه من السهل ممارستها في أي مكان طالما توافرات أدواتها ، تنس الطاولة هي اللعبة التي تجمع بين الخفة والمرونة والرشاقة مع سرعة رد الفعل ودقة التوجيه والتصويب والعديد من المهارات البدنية والعقلية ؛ لذا كنا حريصين كل الحرص عىل تنظيم بطولة خاصة بلعبة تنس الطاولة بين طالب المدرسة ، كانت البطولة ممتعة للغاية في مراحلها األوىل ، وكلنا حماس لتكريم الفائزين فيها خالل الفترة المقبلة بإذن هللا .

9.1 The Exciting English Speech Competition The English Speech Competition held for Grades 5 to 11 was absolutely fantastic! Students from different grades showcased their remarkable speaking skills, making it a truly memorable event. The participants spoke confidently and passionately about a variety of topics, ranging from their favorite hobbies and technology to Climate Change, and the importance of kindness. The audiences were captivated by the enthusiasm and creativity displayed by each speaker. It was a joyous experience that not only celebrated the students' communication abilities but also fostered a sense of community and encouragement. The English Speech Competition provided a platform for young voices to be heard, and everyone concluded the event inspired and proud of their peers.

ENGLISH ACTIVITIES “A word after a word after a word is power.” – Margaret Atwood Writing is one of the most important skills English as a second Language learners must master. Literacy skills are reflection of intelligence and knowledge, and a learners’ ability to grasp a language is easily judge by their writing skills. Report writing is one of the literacy skills in which the learners gather information and write a report using the given information. This activity emphasizes on research skills like collecting and recording information in grammatically correct, well-structured sentence, correct use of vocabulary and proper spellings. Here at MGPS we practice report writing and try to understand gathering information and recording it in proper sentence structure. Here’s a glimpse of Grade 3 students writing a report on “Fennec Fox’ using the information from information card. 10
Helpers in Our Neighbourhood Reading is a crucial component of language development during early childhood. It not only enhances a child's comprehension of words but also stimulates their creativity and imagination. Reading is essential for speech development and introduces children to the world and new ideas. Our Grade 2 students learnt about the different helpers who made up a neighborhood community. They were taught about the various jobs and roles each person played in supporting the community. During reading, they also learnt about the significance of cooperation and the noteworthy people who led our communities. After reading, the children drew maps of their neighborhoods and labeled the helpers they encountered. They also wrote about their parents and how they served their communities. KG ENGLISH ACTIVITIES 11 Nawar Anwar Al Hajri KG2F Noor Waleed Al Shukhali KG2F Racing Readers Racing Readers from KG2F loved this interactive reading activity that focuses on reading CVC words. It helps them to remember the sound of the letters and form a word in a unique way. They do this by pushing the stoplight buttons underneath each letter sound in the word, then push the car across the track as they say a word faster. Students enjoyed this activity.
ARABIC ACTIVITIES 2 12 االلغة العربية الفصيحة هي اللغة األقرب إىل القلب، هي اللغة التي بإمكانك من خاللها أن تلمس شغاف القلوب وأن تعبر عن كِّل ما يدور في داخلك من مشاعر وأحاسيس هي لغة الفخر ولنا في المتنبي خير مثال، ا ولغة الهجاء والرثاء والمديح، إَّنها اللغة المتكاملة بكِّل ما فيها، إضافة إىل أَّنها اليوم من أكثر لغات العالم تحدًث مها ُّل وانتشاًرا، وال شَك في أن هذا االنتشار جاء من أهمية هذه اللغة، وكثرة المتحدثين بها، وكثرة المهتمين بتع م النطق بها، فما أعظمها من لغة وما أسعدنا بكوننا عرًبا بلسان عربي فصيح ستظل اللغة العربية الفصيحة ُّل وتع أهم لغة في هذا العالم وأعظم لغة أيًضا، إَّنها لغة اإلسالم ولغة كِّل مسلم، إَّنها أجمل لغات العالم دون استثناء.
ARABIC ACTIVITIES اللغة العربية هويتنا وحياتنا ولغة ديننا وقرآننا ووطننا ، نحرص بكل قوة أن يتذوق الطالب متعتها وحالوتها وأن يشعروا بمتعة التعمق فيها ، كما نحرص أن يعبر الطالب بطريقة صحيحة عما بداخلهم سواء شفهًيا أو كتابًيا ، واألهم أننا نؤمن أن الطالب هو محور العملية التعليمية وعلينا أن نغرس فيه االعتماد عىل الذات والتفكير البحثي والتأملي واالستكشاف واالستنتاج ؛ لذا نجد هنا طالب الحلقة الثانية يقومون بأنفسهم عن طريق الحوار بين المجموعات باستنباط واستنتاج القاعدة بالدرس واستنباط القواعد واألدب ويتفاعلون مع معلمهم في جو من المتعة والمرح والتنافس الشريف بين مجموعات الصف . 12.1

Here in MGPS, our young scientists explore a few exciting science experiments that are both educational and entertaining. We encourage our young scientists to predict outcomes, ask questions, and explore variations of these experiments. The joy of discovery is not only in finding answers but in the process of questioning and experimenting.

MATH ACTIVITIES Mathematics is everywhere Learning about 2D shapes can improve the child’s spatial awareness, their ability to describe and compare objects, their awareness of how objects fit together and it is important because it has applications in everyday life. Here at MGPS, grade one students were free to make anything using the 2D Shapes to express their different ideas and showing that 2D shapes are everywhere! 16
Yaqoub Samater of 8B is engaged with activity of finding formulae for surface area and volume of 2D and 3D shapes . Surface area is a twodimensional measure, while volume is a three-dimensional measure. Two figures can have the same volume but different surface areas. Said Al Ghannami of 8B is participated in finding formulae for surface area of 2D and 3D shapes. Surface area and volume are the architects of geometry, shaping the structures that define the mathematical landscape. Noor Al Maamari of 7B is presenting lines of symmetry of 2D shapes . Lines of symmetry are the silent guardians of geometric perfection, ensuring that every 2D shape is a masterpiece of balance and proportion. MATH ACTIVITIES 16.1
KG MATH ACTIVITIES 17 KG2B Hayan Al Mani & Zahra Al Sharji Qasim Al Busaidi Tarf Alufi Developing a strong grounding in numbers is essential so all children develop the necessary building blocks to excel mathematically. Children should be able to count confidently, and develop a deep understanding of the number 10, the relationships between them, and the patterns within those numbers. In MGPS, Students will learn numbers and counting up to 10 to recognize and write the numbers 1 through 10 at the beginning of the academic year. Counting numbers are significant to know so that they understand that numbers have an order and also be able to count numbers easily. Numbers are the roots of math you the young learners will find an easy way of learning numbers and counting step by step. Math is all about practicing and solving questions. Teachers also follow and guide the kids to learn basic numbers and counting skills and practice every day. Thus, teaching children to count involves more than helping them learn the numbers one to ten.

ISLAMIC ACTIVITIES التعليم هو حق لجميع أبنائنا وبناتنا ، ومن منطلق تحقيق شعار مدرسة األجيال العصرية بأن التعليم اليتوقف أبدا فيها فكان البد لزاما علينا أن نكفل لهم وصول هذا الحق كاماًل ونقوم بدورنا عىل أكمل وجه لتحقيق وتأدية هذه الرسالة وهذه األمانة ، ولذلك اليمتفى فقط بالتعليم بل البد من من إضافة جو من المرح واللعب داخل الحصة ويقوم الطالب بأنفسهم بالحديث عما فهموه وتعلموه من خالل اللعب ليزيد بذلك ثقتهم في أنفسهم ونقوي شخصيتهم في التعبير عن أرائهم بكلنضباط والتزام . حفظهللاأبنائنا وبناتنا . 18
ISLAMIC ACTIVITIES من األمور المهمة في العملية التعليمية هي غرس القيم األخالقية قبل التعليم خاصة أن مدرستنا تعي تماما هذا الدور الكبير وتؤكد عليه وهو ضرورة الحرص عىل غرس القيم األخالقية في نفوس طالبنا ، حيث أن القيم األخالقية لها دور بارز ومهم في تقويم سلوك الطالب وتطوير عالقتهم بمن حولهم داخل المجتمع ليكون عضو نافع ومفيد داخل المجتمع ومن هنا يأتي الدور المهم في الربط بين المادة العلمية والقيم األخالقية وليس فقط هذا بل يقوم الطالب بشرحها لزمالئهم لغرسالثقة في نفوسهم وتعويدهم عىل األدوار القيادية . حفظهللاأبنائنا وبناتنا . 18.1
KG ISLAMIC ACTIVITES 19 الصدقة عبادات كثيرة يجب أن يتعلمها أطفالنا منذ الصغر ليعتاد عليها ويحسن أداءها عندما يبلغ سن التكليف. ومنها: اإلنفاق في الخير ، فاللمال وقع في القلب وإذا لم يعتد الطفل عىل حب الخير أكثر من حب المال لن يستطيع أداء هذه العبادة. و تتمّثل الّصدقات في الجانب المعنوّي والمادي وقد قال النبي صىل هللا عليه وسلم: ، واألمر ٍة َصَد َق ًة ، َوُكِّل َتْهِليَل ، َوُكِّل َتْحِميَدٍة َصَد َق ًة ، َوُكِّل َتْكِبيَرٍة َصَد َق ًة ُكِّل َتْسِبي َحٍة َصَد َق ًة "ِإَّن ِب ة. ، َوَنْهٌي َعْن ُمْنَك ٍر َصَد َق ْمٌر ِباْلَمْع ُروِف َصَد َق ٌة بالمعروف والّنهي عن الُمنكر، وقد قال النبي:"َوَأ وتم تفعيل مفهوم الصدقة لدى اطفال الصف التمهيدي )ج( من خالل مشاركتهم وتطبيقهم لمفهوم الصدقة والتعرف عىل أنواع الصدقة ومن أنواعها ُسقيا الماء و التبسم في وجه األخرين.

KG ART ACTIVITIES 21 Using the muscles of their hands and fingers, children tend to improve their ability and manipulate small objects. Painting, drawing, coloring, cutting and pasting are all examples of ways children strengthen their muscles in the process of art activities. In participating in art activities, children are able to make their own choices, experiment with materials and try new ways to do things. Here at MGPS Kindergarten children participate in different art activities enabling them to think critically, improve their muscles and enjoy the process at the same moment. KG ART ACTIVITIES 21.1 Said Yousif Al Balushi Sara Sameer Al Zedjali Mohammed Abdullah Al Balushi العمل الفني والتعليم النشاط الفني هو بوابة الطفل نحو غموض المستقبل ومهاراته، ويمكن تعريفة بانة أُّي نشاط يقوم به الطفل مستعينا بالخامات واألدوات الفنية المتاحة. وهو كل ما يعمله ويقوم به الطفل باستخدام األدوات والخامات، مما يساعدهم في تكوين شخصيته وصقلها، وتقديم الخبرة الجديدة، وتزويده بمعلومات أكثر حول األشياء المحيطة به. فالعمل الفني هو أفضل نشاط يقوم به الطفل وله أثر كبير في فهم نمط الحياة من حوله وزيادة شعور الطفل بالرضا عن نفسه فقد قام اطفال الصف الروضة )ج( بتفعيل حرف الذال بطريقة فنية ممتعة وتم ذلك عن طريق وضع حبات الذرة في الثمرة لتعزيز وتثبيت مفهوم ومدلول الحرف فكان الشكل النهائي للعمل الفني جميل جدا وزاد عند األطفال الثقة والرضا والتمكن الروضة ) ج (
SOCIAL STUDIES ACTIVITIES 22 اتعريف الخريطة الخريطة أو الخارطة هي صورة هيئة األرض أو جزء منها. تختلف الخرائط عن الصور الجوية في أنها تحتوي عىل معلومات وتوضيح للمناطق الجغرافية. يسمى العلم المختصبرسم خرائط بعلم الخرائط لذلك تم عمل ورشه عمل لطالب الصف الثالث للتعرف عىل موقع المحافظات بالسلطنه واسمائها.
مهارة الخريطة وتطبيقها بالتقنيات الحديثة تعتبر من اساسيات علم الجغرافيا ومادة الدراسات االجتماعية واستخدام برامج الخرائط مثل ) جوجل ماب( و ) جوجل ايرث ( يسهل علي الطالب تحديد المواقع والمدن واستنتاج االتجاهات وأيضا تحديد اإلقليم المناخية علي سطح األرض SOCIAL STUDIES ACTIVITIES من اهم المهارات لطالب مادة الدراسات االجتماعية مهارة )تحليل الصور التاريخية( وتعتبر من اهم عمليات الرصد لألحداث التاريخية القديمة ومنارة لفكر الطالب وتبحر بهم لزمن لم يعاصروه ولكن شاهدو الصور المعبرة لهذا الزمن ثم نترك لهم حرية التعبير والتحليل الكتمال الصورة الذهنية عند الطالب 22.1
