This informative presentation promises to offer valuable insights and support for our younger students. Let's come together to encourage and learn from this meaningful initiative! Playing Monopoly helps Grade 11 AS students learn about monopolies in economics by showing how one company controls the market, sets prices, and impacts consumers. It's a fun way to explore real-world economics concepts and decision-making. It helps to understand the marketing structure, price setting and pricing strategies, negotiation and strategy, consumer welfare and market power, negotiation and strategy. 23.1

K G T H E M E A C T I V I T I E S 27 MY ROOM As a structure for integrating content areas, learning around a theme makes sense to children. It helps them make connections, to transfer knowledge and apply it. It fosters comparison, categorizing and environmental finding pattern. We all live in different types of homes with varieties of rooms. Learning about those differences is a key way to broaden a child’s knowledge of the things around them. Talking about types of rooms is a great way to get early learners to open up in class. When we ask questions about the home each child lives in, we give them a chance to tell us something they know. And, they get to hear how their classmates live in every day too. Here in MGPS we make sure that our learners have the awareness to develop empathy and compassion towards others. Parent’s Corner I was happy to learn that a psychologist to join MGPS in this academic year. My son has been diagnosed as hyperactive with attention deficiency. As a parent, we always needed the help and support for son in order for him to succeed and performed academically well at the school. The psychologist at the school has provided the support and guidance to my son and has shown level of understanding and insight into the unique needs of my son. The phycologist has also developed a guideline to all the school teachers in order guide them in how to handle hyperactive students with attention deficiency. Hello, this is your grade 3 ESL teacher, Harshitha Jain. I’ve been teaching in MGPS for the past year, and I must say, I love it! I am grateful to be continuing as an ESL teacher, where I can collaborate with an excellent group of team members across the school. The community strives hard to make an action plan that meets the vision and mission of our school. At MGPS, we create learners of the 21st century who are skilled and innovative. We train our learners to use the right tools to improvise themselves. In MGPS, I have seen the growth and improvement in our students because of the efforts of every employee and as days pass by it looks more promising and motivating. The instructional strategies are technology-based along with constant training for teachers to enhance their skills to make their classes more productive and effective, showing their true interest in investing in their employees. MGPS drives each student with creativity, innovation, knowledge, and engagement via teaching and mentoring.
