‫ז’ שבט תשע”ז‬

On behalf of the entire Beth Aaron family, it gives me great pleasure to
wish a sincere mazel tov to our guests of honor, Cathy and Steve Schuss,
to our Shelly Leffel service awardees, Debbie and David Sheffey and to
our inaugural recipient of the Eitan Shapiro Teen Leadership award, Avi
Cooper, on their well-deserved honors. We all feel a deep sense of pride
and admiration, as we join in recognizing their extraordinary efforts and
accomplishments on behalf of our ‫בית הכנסת‬.
How fortunate our community is to have had these wonderful individuals
lead our ‫בית הכנסת‬. Their devotion and dedication to our shul is nothing
less than remarkable. The have diligently served our community in
countless ways and have worked tirelessly on behalf of the shul. Our
beloved honorees are true “doers” and we have all been the fortunate
recipients of their tireless efforts.
Their dedication and commitment to the needs of the ‫ ציבור‬is matched
only by their genuinely modest and unassuming manner. They serve
as sterling role models for all who have the privilege of knowing them.
May ‫ הקב”ה‬continue to provide them with the strength to carry on their
honorable efforts. May He bless them and their families with health,
happiness and success for many years to come. Mazal Tov!

President’s Message

In Parashas Vayakhel, perek lamed vav, pasuk ches says,‫ויעשו כל חכם לב‬
‫ בעשי המלאכה את המשכן‬.While the Torah initially refers to the work
performed by the artisans in the plural form, the rest of the work is
described within the psukim in the singular form. The obvious
question is why? Rav Moshe Feinstein explains that although there
were many people involved in building the Mishkan from a collective
standpoint, each person took individual responsibility for every task.
From personal experience, when a big project is going, people have
tendencies to rely on others and thus things inevitably tend to fall
between the cracks. However, what is special here is that because of
the affiliation that each person had for the Mishkan, everyone felt a
personal connection to HKBH and thus a responsibility to ensure that
every detail was completed and did not fall into the proverbial cracks.
Baruch Hashem, Congregation Beth Aaron is a large shul and many
people pass through our portals daily. Some people may come and go.
Yet for our honorees, there is no such thing as “they come and they
go”; each has become an integral part of our Shul as indicative of their
actions. All our honorees exhibit the same trait the artisans developed
at the time of the Mishkan. Each of our honorees has cultivated a
personal connection with the Shul, which our congregation is the
fortunate beneficiaries; they also inspire others to get involved. As a
result, they take upon themselves to take care of each detail such that
their individual actions allow for the collective cohesion and growth of
our Bet Haknesset.

Our guests of honor, Cathy and Steve Schuss have been part of our
Shul for more than 30 years. Cathy and Steve are a permanent fixture
of our Shul. They can be seen in Shul every morning and afternoon
for davening and at the various shiurim and activities available at Beth
Aaron. While Cathy and Steve are quiet and unassuming they readily
exhibit middos that they truly care about everyone around them; I
look at them as role models for our Kehilah. Steve as a pediatrician is
always on call at Shul and at home. He is the first to mobilize when
something C”V happens in Shul and medical care is needed and has
helped many people. At home, my kids were several of many children
over the years that came for medical advice on Shabbat or Yom Tov
which I and Heather are maker tov. When the Shul’s EpiPen’s expired,
I called on Steve for ideas on how to get them without spending
thousands of dollars. That the Shul got the EpiPen’s without it
spending thousands of dollars that it costs to purchase them. Steve
was a former board member while Cathy is an active board member
who is constantly called upon when something is needed. She has
been working on the committee to reform how we better communicate
communal announcements while saving the Shul money. She was
asked to learn programs that the Shul uses to send out
announcements while backing up our office manager when on
vacation. There are many people who say no to various requests, but I
know when something requires a yes to ask Cathy and Steve. Steve
and Cathy are loyal to Beth Aaron and it shows through their constant
daily involvement, devotion, care and to everything they do on behalf
of the Kehillah.

Our Shelley Leffel awardees are Debby and David Sheffey who are
currently active in helping our Bet Haknessest. David was the head of
the Judaic Enrichment committee for 5 years under which learning
thrived at Beth Aaron. Heading this committee requires tremendous
insight over the varied needs of our growing and diversified Kehilah
with the ability to help market and promote the program. Ever since
davening in the Bet Medrash for the Yomim Noraim, David continues
to act as the Ba’al Makri for the Ba’al Tokeiah. Months of time go into
learning the halachos of blowing the shofar with the Ba’al Tokeiah in
preparation for Rosh Hashanah. As part of my Shabbos ritual, I make
my way to the basement to welcome and wish parents and youth a
good Shabbos. It gives me so much ha’nah to see David in the
basement library leading a chaburah on hilchos Shabbos to well
established and newer members which has been in place for several
years. As hakarat hatov, this same chaburah purchased Chassan Torah
on Simchas Torah for David. Debby is also currently actively involved
with the Shul in many ways. For as long as I can remember, Debby has
been the Treasurer for the Youth Department making sure that all
group leaders are paid timely. In this role, she has improved efficiency
while saving the Shul money by creating a new way to pay the group
leaders. Debby who has been on the Sisterhood board for several
years has been successful at getting others to participate in the
multitude of Sisterhood and other Shul activities.

HOME BUILDER PLATINUM DIAMOND EMERALD RUBY BIRCHAS
SAPPHIRE FULL HALF QUARTER LISTING HAMAZON

When the words “peer pressure” are used to describe Debby, they
positively connote the ability for her to bring people closer to the Shul
and inspiring them to be active in the Shul. David and Debby are go to
people when something in Shul is needed. They are people that do
not have the word “no” in their vocabulary and are always saying yes.
They are people who are extremely loyal to our Shul and are looking to
help it grow in any which way possible.
Avi Cooper is our inaugural awardee for the Eitan Shapiro Teen Youth
Award. Avi embodies so many things that Eitan Shapiro espoused as
a teen including leading by example. Being a leader is a great trait,
but only when it’s joined with kindness, sensitivity, compassion, and
wisdom does it truly mean something special. Although Avi is the
oldest of five children, he is a natural born leader and role model with
which his siblings aspire to. Avi is constantly busy doing something
and has little time to relax. In his youth, he was a charter member
and soloist of the Beth Aaron Boys Choir that played at both Shul
events and at various places to perform chessed opportunities such as
nursing homes. Avi continued to work hard through and hone his
skills in Shul when he attended and participated in the Junior
Minyan. Over the past 5 years, he participates in the Youth Minyan
where he has continued to hone his skills by being a Shliach Tzibbur
and Ba’al Koreh where he also learned the importance of working for
the Kehilah. He has also participated by leining in the main minyan
in the annual Youth Minyan Shabbatot where we showcase our teens.
In his “spare” time, Avi volunteers for the Centerpiece Gemach where
he has encouraged friends to volunteer as well.

HOME BUILDER PLATINUM DIAMOND EMERALD RUBY BIRCHAS
SAPPHIRE FULL HALF QUARTER LISTING HAMAZON

Avi most recently completed an internship at Rutgers in Computer
Science where he was written up in various newspapers. Avi has
attended Daf Yomi at Beth Aaron and has occasionally given the shiur.
During the summer, I would see him learning with a chavruta before
davening as part of the TABC summer learning. Our hope is to see Avi
continue to grow as a Ben Torah and a leader where he will continue
to give back to Beth Aaron and Klal Yisroel for many years to come.
As I conclude, I want to thank our awardees for allowing us to honor
them and to publicly display just how much they do for our Kehilah
which hopefully will inspire others to get involved in our wonderful
Kehilah. I also want to thank all those that have come here tonight to
show support for both our awardees and for our Bet Haknesset. There
is no better way to conclude than a quote from one of our past
presidents David Goldberg who still continues to serve our Kehilah in
so many countless ways today, “…beyond feting the work of a select
group of our worthy members, we assemble tonight to rejoice in our
broader connection to one another. Through the year, we may daven
in different minyanim, we may attend different shiurim and we
engage in different social circles. That is to be expected from a large,
vibrant and active shul like Beth Aaron. But the shul dinner grants us
the opportunity to join together once a year as a united, cohesive
group and celebrate what we share rather than what resonates with
each of us as individuals.

HOME BUILDER PLATINUM DIAMOND EMERALD RUBY BIRCHAS
SAPPHIRE FULL HALF QUARTER LISTING HAMAZON

This is how Jewish communities have survived and flourished for
millennia. This is why we are called a congregation. Therefore, we
gather to celebrate the best of our community tonight.”

Mazal Tov Cathy and Steve, to Debby and David and to Avi whom we
all came tonight to celebrate our 41st Anniversary Dinner with. Mazal
Tov to all those who joined with us tonight to celebrate the achdut of
our truly special Bet Haknesset. May it be the will of HKBH that he
showers our Kehilah with his bracha that we may be zoche to nachas
from our families and friends and soon see the building of the Bes
Hamikdash, bimherah biyamenu.

Men’s Club Message

On behalf of the officers and board of the Men’s Club I would like to thank all of
our hard-working volunteers for helping make our shul what it is. If you look up
the exact definition of the word volunteer, you will see it is both a noun, a verb
and even an adjective. (courtesy of dictionary.com)

noun
1. a person who voluntarily offers himself or herself for a service or
undertaking.
2. a person who performs a service willingly and without pay.
adjective
3. of, relating to, or being a volunteer or volunteers: a volunteer fireman.
4. Agriculture. growing without being seeded, planted, or cultivated by a
person; springing up spontaneously.
verb
5.to offer oneself for some service or undertaking.
6. to enter service or enlist as a volunteer.
7. to offer (oneself or one's services) for some undertaking or purpose.

HOME BUILDER PLATINUM DIAMOND EMERALD RUBY BIRCHAS
SAPPHIRE FULL HALF QUARTER LISTING HAMAZON

Just like the definition a volunteer is multifaceted so too is the various roles that
a volunteer takes. Some volunteers everyone knows. They are in highly visible
roles. The Shul president, the Gabbai, the Magid Shuir, the person serving your
chulent at a Kiddush. There are then many volunteers who are in less visible but
just as valuable roles. The person who ensures a Beis Avel has a torah and
siddurim for minyan. The member who helps make a meal for a new mother
and her family. The person who goes to Shoprite and shlepps 40 bottles of water
and soda back to shul for an event. The volunteer who records a shiur to have it
posted on the website. The one who posts it online. The one who updates the
website and facebook pages to allow others to know about upcoming events and
shiurim.
There is no shortness of volunteer opportunities in our kehilia. Tonight we
honor two couples and a worthy teen who all exemplify the spirit of volunteering
for the community and the shul. Between sitting on board committees, helping
give a chabura, writing checks for our youth group leaders, laining and leading
davening at the Teen Minyan there is no shortness of examples from the
honorees that we can seek to mimic. Volunteering not only helps you and your
community but helps future generations see what is needed for our communities
to survive.
For those of you who don’t know where they can help, I ask, no I beg you speak
with me as the Men’s Club is always looking for assistance, be it to help make
one trip to a supermarket, or to run or assist at a future event. There are dozens
of members of our kehila who help ensure that the Beth Aaron you know and
love, functions the way it should.

Thank you to every one of the volunteers who makes Beth Aaron well, Beth
Aaron.

Sisterhood Message

The Annual Shul dinner is an opportunity to reflect on our accomplishments
with a sense of appreciation and gratitude. Our shul has grown and blossomed
through the tireless efforts of the kehillah, and we are blessed to have the Rabbi
and Chaviva to guide us. Their vision, leadership, and integrity has fashioned
and molded the community that we call Beth Aaron. The Sisterhood is
fortunate to benefit from dedicated and ambitious women who serve the
community. It is through their innovation and passion that we are able to
provide the community with so many exciting programs and opportunities.

Throughout the year we have been very busy offering a variety of programs to
help foster a sense of unity among the women of our shul. It is wonderful to see
the camaraderie as women come together to socialize and enjoy diverse
programming. From Halacha lectures, to Zumba classes, to Paint Night and
needlepoint, to Hachnasat Orchim Shabbat, to Café Night, and our summer
Seuda Shlishit series, the Sisterhood has been planning and organizing. Meals
are provided for families in their time of need, Mishloach Manot delivered to
your door, book club meetings and Shavuout flowers to add to the Shul décor
are all part of what we are here for.

We thank those who have contributed their time and efforts, as well as those
who continue to do so, in order to enable our Sisterhood to grow and flourish.
As always, we continue to seek additional opportunities to thrive and move
forward by expanding our programs and launching new initiatives. Look at this
time as a new beginning to join the sisterhood. As our tenure comes to an end,
we are actively seeking more people to get involved, including in leadership
roles. If you are interested in Sisterhood on any level, please email
[email protected]. We welcome your support, your enthusiasm and
your creativity.

Cathy & Steve Schuss
Guests of Honor

Year after year, we come to our Annual Dinner to celebrate what
members of Beth Aaron all share, even if we daven at different
minyanim, attend different shiurim, attend (or not) the various
kiddushim or participate (or not) in other Shul-sponsored
programming. Often, the Dinner gives us pause to recognize how
blessed our kehilla is with its broad cohort of individuals who
unselfishly offer their time and talents to the betterment of our shul as
well as the wider community at large. Nearly every year, the question
one could ask is not why the individuals feted are being so honored;
the question is, ‘What took so long?’

HOME BUILDER PLATINUM DIAMOND EMERALD RUBY BIRCHAS
SAPPHIRE FULL HALF QUARTER LISTING HAMAZON

Surely this all comes to mind when considering tonight’s honorees,
Dr. Steven and Cathy Schuss. We are all the fortunate recipients of
their friendship, their thoughtful involvement, and their continued
acts of gemillat chesed.
Steve, whose personality is consonant with his Hebrew name, Simcha
Asher, hails from Brooklyn while Cathy (Chaya Sora), was born in
Williamsport, Pennsylvania and raised in Binghamton, New York.
Like so many others, they initially met at an NCSY shabbaton. Cathy
was Upper New York State Regional President while Steve was a
member of NCSY’s then ‘in-house band,’ Ruach Revival (later
RUACH).
This latter factoid comes as a surprise to some when they look through
their parents’ vinyl record collection. Indeed, some of Steve’s own
compositions have been recorded, and today his command of niggun
and melody is nearly unsurpassed. Whenever he davens for the amud
one is sure to hear a blend of ‘old classics’ and newer Jewish music.
(Those attending a Shabbat or Yom Tov meal in his home likely know
of his singular rendition of Shir haMa’alot.)
The Schusses, including three of their children, moved into their home
in Teaneck, joining Congregation Beth Aaron, in 1983 BC-- Before
Construction. (Back then davening on Friday nights, Shabbat
afternoons, and on Sunday mornings rotated between their home and
that of Harry and Renée Harcsztark.)

HOME BUILDER PLATINUM DIAMOND EMERALD RUBY BIRCHAS
SAPPHIRE FULL HALF QUARTER LISTING HAMAZON

Cathy and Steve say they decided to move here because it was already
familiar; they had lived in the Terrace Circle apartments briefly after
they got married, but had quickly decamped to the Bronx while Steve
attended Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Their return to Teaneck,
they say, was governed largely by Steve’s relatively easy commute to
Montefiore, where he had his affiliation. But at the time, a very close
friend of theirs said that it was only fitting and natural that they would
choose to live in a quiet town and on a street called Cherry Lane.
Teaneck, of course, offered them a friendly, burgeoning, ‘heimish’
community, with opportunities for religious and spiritual growth,
nearby yeshivot, and a number of kosher establishments.
Several years later, Steve opened his pediatric medical practice here
and it has become an important part of the fabric of our community.
Today, many children, and not a few adults, know him best in this
capacity, and it is not uncommon to find him consulting with parents
and others on medical matters.

The Schusses are the parents of four wonderful children, all of whom
attended and enjoyed Shabbat groups while growing up at Beth
Aaron. They are, ba”h, proud grandparents as well.

• Adina and Moshe Hahn live in nearby Clifton with their family;
both are accountants.
• Tamar and Dr. Yitz (Jeremy) Kaplowitz and their children live in
Baltimore. Once Yitz completed his residency in anesthesiology,
Tamar left her own position with a telecom company to enjoy her role
as a full-time mom. As a teen, Tamar was one of our group leaders,
then an assistant to the overall Youth Director and, when she left us,
as interim Director of the program.
• Michal and Naftali Greenberg live in Beitar Illit with their family.
Michal (who was also once one of our group leaders) is now a
metapelet. Husband Naftali is a maggid shiur for
shasilluminated.com, a site that presents high-level, in-depth shiurim
for those who teach Daf Yomi.
• Their son Naftali, their only Teaneck native, now lives in
Manhattan with his wife, Lauren, and their little girl; he works for a
mortgage company.

SAPPHIRE FULL HALF QUARTER LISTING HAMAZON

Steve has served as a CBA Board member, while Cathy is now in her
second year there. Steve has also been a member of the RYNJ Board
of Education. Cathy previously volunteered as part of our Chevra
Kadisha; Steve is currently active in this important work. In the
not-so-distant past, Cathy was a member of our Shul’s phone squad;
today, she has stepped up, and stepped in, to produce our Weekly
Announcements whenever Judi Resnick is away from the office.
Role models to their children and their friends, Steve and Cathy are
involved in a range of chesed activities, most often working behind the
scenes. In particular, Cathy-- recognized as a caring, willing,
participant-- has been known to take on a more active role but, like
her namesake, Sara Imeinu, her engagement is always ba’ohel:
efficient, quietly determined, and without fanfare. Some of her known
activities include Shearis haPlate, and assorted Tehillim groups; she
also organizes transportation and shopping for individuals in need.
Both are kovei’a ittim, regularly setting aside time to expand their
knowledge of Torah and halacha, learning not only with others but
with each other, too.
Characteristically, neither Steve nor Cathy understand what all the
fuss is about but “if it will be helpful to the shul [they] are prepared to
‘take one for the team’” because they love Beth Aaron where they
“continue to find a mix of wonderful people from various backgrounds
and interests, programs that appeal to all, and a fabulous Rabbi and
Rebbetzin [ed. note: sorry, Chaviva] who truly want to be involved in
everyone’s smachot, help in any and every way they can, and who
serve as exemplars to us all.”

Debby & David Sheffey
Shelly Leffel Service Awardees

When Debby and David Sheffey say that one of the things they love
about Beth Aaron is the “out-of-town” feel, they certainly know what
they are talking about. Debby (nee Hyman) grew up in Rochester, NY
and David was raised in a combination of Chicago, IL, State College,
PA, Springfield, OH, Racine, WI and Milwaukee! If anyone knows
what it’s like to feel “out of town”, they certainly do. Married for 25
years, they started their married life in the ultimate “in-town”,
Brooklyn, NY and soon moved to Teaneck in 2001 to join family living
nearby. They enrolled their children in RYNJ where Noam, 10 and
Adira, 13 are still learning and Meira and Yaffa are both Alumni.
Meira, 17, is a senior at Bruriah and Yaffa, 19, a Bruriah graduate and
MMY alum, is now studying in Stern College.

HOME BUILDER PLATINUM DIAMOND EMERALD RUBY BIRCHAS
SAPPHIRE FULL HALF QUARTER LISTING HAMAZON

David and Debby have been very involved members of Beth Aaron since
they arrived. They are among the very first to happily welcome new
families with the signature Sheffey warmth and hospitality. Debby is
always available to prepare meals for new moms and for anyone who may
need a helping hand. David is a fixture in the shul basement on Shabbos
morning with a sefer in his hand as he participates in the Hilchos Shabbos
Chabura. He is a devoted attendee of the weekly Hashkama minyan and is
also the Baal Makri for the Yomim Noraim Hashkama Minyan. As head of
the Judaic Enrichment programming for 5 years, he has brought many
dynamic speakers, scholars-in-residence and excellent educational
opportunities to our membership. Debby serves as Treasurer of the Youth
Department and has been on the Sisterhood board for several years,
helping to create fun, educational and interesting programming for our
Kehilla.
Despite their busy schedules working in the real world, David in the energy
industry and Debby as an accountant and taking care of the family and
their work on behalf of Beth Aaron, David can also be found volunteering
for Tomchei Shabbos and Debby at RYNJ.
Besides the “out-of-town-feel” they cherish at Beth Aaron, Debby and
David also embrace the notion that every member has the ability to get
involved, contribute something unique and make a difference in our
special Kehilla. Debby and David are role models for all of us as they
enthusiastically lend their talents and energies in all sorts of meaningful
ways. They agreed to be honored because of their dedication to our shul
and their hope to inspire others to get involved, whether in big or small
ways, so that each of us can make a positive impact on our community.

Avi Cooper
Eitan Shapiro Teen Youth Leadership Award

Avi Cooper was born in Manhattan and moved to Teaneck and Beth
Aaron, when he was two years old. Avi’s involvement with Beth Aaron
goes back to participating in parent child learning on Motzai Shabbat
and being a charter member of the Beth Aaron Boys Choir. He
remained with the choir for several years, during which time he was a
star soloist and performed at shuls events, nursing homes and other
venues in North Jersey. He also regularly led Yigdal and Anim Zmirot
in the main minyan.

Avi mastered his davening skills at at Beth Aaron starting with Junior
Minyan, which he attended until sixth grade. Starting at the Youth
Minyan, several months after his Bar Mitzvah, he committed to
improving his laining skills. Over the past five years, davening and
laining at the Youth Minyan has helped Avi develop an appreciation
for the importance of working for the khal. For a forty week period
starting at the beginning of last year, Avi made sure to lain at least one
aliyah each week, oftentimes more than one.

HOME BUILDER PLATINUM DIAMOND EMERALD RUBY BIRCHAS
SAPPHIRE FULL HALF QUARTER LISTING HAMAZON

Most of those weeks were fulfilled at Beth Aaron, but in order to
achieve this goal he lained in Potomac, Cleveland, Miami and Los
Angeles while visiting family. He has also participated by laining in
the main minyan in the annual Youth Minyah Shabbatot.

Avi was privileged to have had Rabbi Rothwachs as his 8th grade
Gemarah Rebbi. He graduated from RYNJ in 2013 with the Derech
Hayashar / Valedictorian Award. Avi is currently a senior at TABC .

For the past several summers, Avi attended the Beth Aaron evening
Daf Yomi after returning from a computer science internship in
Rutgers, New Brunswick. He was honored to have occasionally given
the shiur as well. Avi also often met with a classmate to learn the
optional TABC summer learning in the Beth Aaron Beit Medrash.

Avi was the original photographer for the Beth Aaron Centerpiece
Gemach and along with school friends helped to organize the storage
garage.

Avi appreciates all the wonderful opportunities Beth Aaron provides
to children and teens to master so many important spiritual and
personal skills. He hopes to continue partaking in and giving back to
this wonderful community for many years to come. L’Shanah Habah

February 12, 2017
David and I are honored and blessed to be a part of the

inception of the
Eitan Shapiro Teen Youth Award.
Perhaps quiet and shy in demeanor, Eitan laughed easily,
loved music, basketball and playing his drums. His famous
smile known ‘round the school hallways’ attracted a large
number and diverse style of friends. Whether helping to
acclimate a newcomer at school, making sure that no one
was ever ‘left out’ or simply lifting another’s spirits, Eitan’s gift
of comforting others was evident, as was his ability to instill
valuable life lessons in them. Still today, his friends and
acquaintances tell us that when conflicted with life decisions,
they often wonder what Eitan would have advised them to
do.
His name means ‘strength’ which Eitan personified in many
ways; through his outlook, his determination and his
character. He had the wisdom to respect all people, no
matter the age, race, religion or nationality. His sensitivity
and compassion allowed for his keen ability to care for
others and put them at ease. He made connections, even
throughout his illness, which enabled friends and
communities alike, to come together. Those connections
remain strong today.

Thank you, Congregation Beth Aaron for bringing forth a
valuable asset to our Shul, by connecting its past in honoring
Eitan, z”l and B’ezrat Hashem, its future. May the spirit in
which Eitan lived life through sickness and good health, serve
as an inspiration to others. It is our hope that future
honorees will be able to accept life’s blessings and challenges
in the manner which Eitan was able to; with dignity, courage
and faith…

Looking forward to seeing you at the Beth Aaron dinner on

Dear Debby and David,

It is 25 years since you began as a newly married couple in
Brooklyn. Since then you have grown in so many ways which

come together in the beautiful partnership you have
established.

Both of you are modest in your approach to life, but beneath
that modesty lies tremendous strength of character, devotion

to family and community, and deep commitment and
dedication to Hashem.

Together - always together - you are raising a wonderful
family steeped in Torah values, in kindness, in giving, in

beautiful middos.

Together - always together - you give in all ways to the Shul,
to the community, to the schools Yaffa,Meira, Adira and
Noam attend, to Klal Yisroel.

You are so deserving of the honor bestowed upon you tonight.
Mazel Tov! Mazel Tov!

We love you so much.

Words cannot adequately express the hakarat hatov
our kehilla owes this year's honorees.

Dr. Steve and Cathy Schuss,
Your love, dedication and caring to all the children of Beth Aaron,

whether they are your patients or not is truly remarkable

David and Debby Sheffey
Your love of learning has enabled others to grow and further their
own torah learning, and study in such a quiet and unassuming way.

Avi Cooper
There is no one more fitting or deserving of the inaugural Eitan
Shapiro Teen Youth award. May you continue to go from strength to
strength and build on your leadership skills. May this help both
Congregation Beth Aaron and the larger “Kehilla” of Klal Yisroel.

A sincere and heartfelt Mazel Tov!

Kol Hakvod!
