THE NETZACH SOCIETY
Since 2011, Yeshiva Toras Chaim Netzach Society has participated in the
Rose Community Foundation Live On Program, created to assist metro-area
Jewish organizations integrate a culture of legacy giving, and designed to build
permanent endowments through bequests and planned giving.
In 2017, Live On announced that it would be partnering with the Harold
Grinspoon Foundation to bring its tested national curriculum, LIFE & LEGACY™,
to the Greater Denver/Boulder Jewish communities. LIFE & LEGACY is in 51 other
communities throughout North America and promotes after-lifetime giving to
benefit Jewish organizations. This partnership emphasizes stewardship and
formalization of legacy gifts and promotes a collaborative solicitation approach
that strengthens the community as a whole.
Yeshiva Toras Chaim is one of 28 local organizations taking part of this
initiative. YTC Netzach Society donors value the enormous impact Yeshiva has
made to the Denver Jewish community; having transformed its qualitative and
quantitative landscape in the over-fifty-years of passionate Torah education
and service to the community. Netzach partners believe that building an
endowment is crucial for future generations of Torah scholars, and they are
ensuring that the Denver Jewish community will continue its successful growth
in the next half-century and beyond.
If you have already arranged, (through your estate or another planned giving
vehicle,) to leave a legacy to YTC and would like to be listed as a member of the
Netzach Society, please contact Rabbi Ahron Wasserman at awasserman@ytc.

PLANNED GIVING PROGRAMS
Planned giving is a method of supporting an organization and at the same time,
leave a lasting legacy. Some planned gifts use estate and tax planning techniques
to provide for an organization and heirs in ways that maximize the gift and/or
minimize its impact on the donor’s estate.
A donor has several options to support Yeshiva Toras Chaim through a planned
gift. Whether a donor uses cash, appreciated securities/stock, real estate, artwork,
partnership interests, personal property, life insurance, a retirement plan, etc.,
the benefits of funding a planned gift can make this type of charitable giving very
attractive. Ask your lawyer or investment advisor which estate tool best meets
your goals to remember Yeshiva Toras Chaim.
Continue your legacy through the Live On program by endowing a planned gift that
will provide income equal to your annual gift to Yeshiva Toras Chaim.
Additional information about specific planned giving vehicles, and planning tools
can be found at: http://www.liveonlegacy.org under “Resources.”

MERKAZ TORAH V’CHESED
A full-service community beis medrash
Rabbi Chaim Sher Rabbi Aver Jacobs
Director
Rabbinical Director
In early 2008, Yeshiva Toras Chaim partnered with local community
members to fill the need for a full service beis medrash on Denver’s
East Side. As a result of this vision, Merkaz Torah V’Chesed was founded
as a YTC affiliate, bringing an authentic yeshiva experience to men and
women in East Denver.
Currently in its 10th year, Merkaz offers a full schedule of classes and
shiurim on a wide variety of topics, along with a genuine beis medrash
atmosphere conducive to chavrusa and small-group study five days a
week. Starting off with just a handful of regular participants, Merkaz has
developed and blossomed into a full-fledged Beis Medresh, impacting
many people’s lives and and the overall Ruach HaTorah in East Denver.
Merkaz encourages community participation by providing a
comprehensive study partner match-up system, with classes and
group-learning sessions for all levels-from those exploring Torah
learning for the first time to experienced Torah scholars. Call today to
see what Merkaz Torah V’Chesed can do for you.

PROJECT AVREICHIM
A Synergistic Partnership
A community and its institutions share a collaborative relationship.
When one thrives, the other benefits and vice versa. Five years ago,
YTC partnered with Congregation Zera Abraham in spearheading
Project Avreichim, whose goal is to encourage a fiscally sound
community. Project Avreichim members are an intrinsic part of the
West Side, contributing to the vibrancy of Jewish communal life and
enhanced Shul presence. In addition, their scholarship, skills and
ability enhanced YTC’s morning learning Chabura program. They
provided energetic engagement with the students of the High School
and Beis Medrash, while simultaneously serving as role models. Each
program member was enrolled in afternoon or evening coursework
or vocational training which led to gainful employment after two
years. YTC and Congregation Zera Abraham provided a joint stipend
for this two year period. The families committed to remain within the
community for an additional two years.
Amongst the many contributions the Avreichim families have made,
they model living a Torah life after college and emphasizing the
betterment of oneself through discipline and study.

THE VAAD PROJECT
Rabbi Levi Lebovits
Program Director
The Vaad Project, under the direction of Rabbi Levi Lebovits, is a unique
educational program focused on providing individuals with the tools to integrate
Torah ideals into everyday life through small group workshops. Participants
are empowered to explore new dimensions in familiar Torah concepts, thereby
invigorating their Mitzvah performance.
Rabbi Lebovits joined the Yeshiva in September of 2011 in the position of
Community Liaison. Sensing the necessity for a particular style of learning, he
developed an educational model that helps deepen each participant’s personal
connection to Torah and Mitzvos.
Since its inception in early 2013, the Vaad Project has initiated various Vaad
groups throughout Denver. Vaadim are given both weekly and bi-weekly on
diverse topics ranging from Patience to Blessings to Shabbos and the High
Holidays. So far, close to 100 people have benefited from Vaad meetings and the
number is growing!
The Vaad Project is yet another testament to Yeshiva Toras Chaim’s unwavering
commitment to raise the level of Torah knowledge and observance within the
Denver Jewish community.
