No shirt without blouse

Corporate fashion in the sense of completeness: There’s a
matching blouse for every shirt. Each collection also has sever-
al cuts and designs to choose from.

No Logo

Good quality is not recognised by the size of the manufacturer’s
logo on their products. For this reason, we consciously refrain
from embroidering an eye-catching logo on our shirts and
blouses to give you the advantage: an empty space for you to
individualise your shirt!

High-quality finishing

When it comes to shirts, we recommend embroidery
as the highest quality form of textile finishing. Whether you
choose a subtle tone-on-tone or a distinctive design with
several thread colours – we will customise your shirts and
blouses during production or in our in-house embroidery
department.

From the weaving mill in Malaysia to the sewing room in
Romania to the collar inlays from Southern Germany – we
have known our suppliers for many years and attach huge
importance to complying with social and ecological standards

Pay attention to the details
– The Kümmel business range

A shirt is a shirt. That may well be the case at first glance. But the differences become
clear when you look more closely. The quality can be seen in the details of the Kümmel
Business collection:

• All Kümmel shirts have a double back yoke. This means the shirt can adjust to fit
shoulders of different heights.

• Removable collar stiffeners: This detail is particularly important for shirts that are
also worn without a tie.

• The bottom button hole is horizontal, of course. Not vertical.
• The individual parts of our shirts and blouses are double stitched. This gives the best

appearance, as well as extending the shirt’s life.
• Our shirts have 7 stitches per centimetre. This means your shirt is much more durable.
• Spare buttons. You won’t need them, because the buttons from Union Knopf are fixed

to the fabric using the Ascolite® heat-sealing system. The button shape, which is
rounded on the reverse, means it is particularly easy to fasten and unfasten them.

shirts. Our belief: this classic should be an integral part of
any refined wardrobe. Throughout the world, it makes a sporting
understatement as both a shirt and blouse. No surprise – as the
Oxford shirt used to be worn by polo players from England. Its
breakthrough came as the American college shirt. The Oxford
shirt image is a universal language: You are well-dressed without
appearing stiff. And the combinations are virtually limitless.
Whether you wear it with jeans, chinos or a suit.
In our Berlin range, we have reinterpreted the original Oxford.
It is characterised by a particularly thick quality cotton. The fab-

ric is virtually crease-resistant and does not need ironing. This
makes our Oxford shirts and blouses ideal for travelling.
The typical basket weave design and button-down collars
are among its important features. We have stayed
true to the classic Oxford cut: both the women’s

Wiesbaden banks on fine accents: The visual

A little knowledge on textiles to begin with: For
two-ply, warp and weft threads are plied before
weaving. Because of the more elaborate fabric
manufacturing, two-plies are only used for first
class shirts and blouses - like for the Düsseldorf
collection, which was created for the more dis-
cerning Kümmel customers.

The quality Düsseldorf promises that the fit and
shape are maintained even after many washing
cycles. The weave gives the cotton fabric a
particularly high shape stability and a silk-matt
surface structure. Wearing comfort is excellent
as well, of course.

An organic cotton two-ply business shirt.
Impossible, one might think. Kümmel prove it
is possible with their blouse and shirt collection
Freiburg.

The twill fabric from fabric manufacturer Getzner
of the Austrian Vorarlberg is made of GOTS-
certified yarns.

And, as expected with sustainably produced shirts,
the shirts come without plastic stiffeners. For
Freiburg, we have added metal stiffeners to our
product range which we also recommend for our
other shirts.

The Freiburg shirts and blouses are available in the
classic business colours white, black and light blue.
