7.0 EMERGENCY RESPONSE, PREPAREDNESS AND EVACUATION PLAN

Emergency plans to ensure employee safety in case of fire or other emergency shall be prepared,
in writing, and reviewed with all affected employees. Emergency preparedness plans shall comply
from the requirements as per SSS procedure (Site Emergency Plan)

Plans shall include escape procedures and routes, critical plant operations, employee accounting
following an emergency evacuation, rescue and medical duties, means of reporting emergencies,
and persons to be contacted for information or clarification.

a) On-site emergency planning shall be integrated with off-site emergency support.
(Documentation of specific on-site emergency services shall be made. This can include
written agreements, memorandum for record, telephone conversation logs, etc. The
emergency services provider should be offered an on-site orientation of the project and
associated hazards.)

b) Planning for any operation shall include the total system response capabilities to minimize
the consequences of accidents or natural disaster and shall consider communications,
rescue, first aid, medical, emergency response, emergency equipment, and training
requirements.

EMERGENCY CALL OUT PROCEDURE

In the event of any Emergency the following must be contacted

Give – your name, your company, and location reference, inform the emergency and details of
Emergency (Fire Explosion, Heart attack, serious accident, environmental spillage etc.), and then
call the SSS Operations Manager without fail.

EMERGENCY RESPONSE PROCEDURE –

When you hear the alarm:- Be calm and no panic ,Stop the job you are doing ,Walk out and close
your office door ,Look at the wind socks to determine the wind direction ,Walk to the muster point
according to the route

When you are at muster point: - Look for your supervisor quietly, Line up within your group,
Supervisors get the head count. Supervisors shall conduct the head counts to emergency
coordinator. Our Muster Point will be outside, near the gate area. When there is/are missing
person(s) occurs - Search team (selected HSE staff) will be activated, Conduct site search for
missing person, When situation is safe to go back to work: -Receiving the notice from

HSE In-Charge that the situation is safe to go back, Emergency coordinator will give the order of
going back to work, Work force will re-enter the site orderly and calmly.

SSS will notice the details including:
(1) Identification of all potential emergency situations
(2) Emergency Communications Network
(3) Emergency Alarm System
(4) Individuals’ roles and responsibilities in an emergency
(5) Evacuation routes and assembly points (Muster Point)
(6) Systematic shutdown of operations to minimize loss and reduce additional hazards
(7) Emergency Control Centre (ECC) to collect information and direct activities
(8) A procedure for termination of the emergency situation
(9) Emergency and evacuation drill and simulation

8.0 SECURITY CONTROL PLAN
8.1 Security Procedure
SSS will follow with the Clients’ established Guideline on Security Matters and will
coordinate and comply with the Clients’ Security very closely to reflect the Clients' security
policy on SITE and Camp and also for the Gate Entry Control, and to know the Rules to all
employees and Guards.
8.2 Entry / Egress Control
SSS will order to all employees to wear Personal Identification Card (ID card) to meet the
Gate Control requirements at the designated gates if required by the client.

RTA Traffic Management Centre, Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Project: RTA - Traffic Management Centre
Client: Road & Transport Authority, Dubai.

Year of Completion: 2020

PROJECT BRIEF:

A concave shaped buildings with oval plan profile required full access all around. The roof area on this particular project also
includes a large elevated profile forming the architectural finished shape of the building. The anchors are installed on the steel
structure of the building

Overview of solution:

Due to the special architecture of the building and the
existing steel structure. Sky Steel System LLC designed a
special anchor to accomodate and to be installed on the steel
structure in compliance with standard BS795

Each Anchor is installed with 2000 mm distance apart from
each other and will allow the abseiling to hook himself and
bring hum down towards all sides of the building inluding the
centre part.

After installation anchors are tested with upto 15kN pull out
test by a registered third party inspection company.
