Innofest and Light Bulb Moments!
Innovation is in the very DNA of NMS. One of the USP’s of our school is the richness in its curriculum which
is extensively underpinned with innovation. We achieved this goal by inculcating many futuristic educational tools into our
curriculum. To celebrate these light bulb moments, all students showcased their summer science projects and genius hour
projects on October 29th 2019. The Science Week culminated with the much-awaited INNOFEST, the annual exhibition
of innovative projects and prototypes developed by students across the school, with the aid of Lego Mindstorm, Lego We-
Do, Augmented Reality, and Artificial Intelligence. With more than 200 participants and 75 projects on display, the
exhibition was a mega-hit among both, students as well as parents, as they got the opportunity to witness STEAM and
Innovation outcomes. Apart from Innofest, Expo2020 invited school students across the UAE to share their exciting
innovative ideas for the EXPO2020 Young Innovators Program. Lohith Verma and Srikshaj Devupalli from Grade 9B
